Situated in the heart of Crystal Palace Numidie Bistro is an award winning restaurant serving delicious traditional Algerian and French cuisine. The family run venue looks and feels cool, with its massive mirrors, traditional colourful walls and fittings and shabby-chic mismatched crockery. Owners Mak and Hakim are of Algerian decent, with Mak having over 20 years experience in the catering industry, and has been a Head Chef for over half of this time. His Nephew Hakim is a pastry chef and also manages the lounge bar in the basement of the restaurant. The bar is an inviting space with traditional Algerian deco and a quaint small garden area leading off from the bar. Come and enjoy some live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night, a perfect way to round off the evening having sampled the mouth watering dishes served in the restaurant upstairs.

It’s my third time here, this time to celebrate daughter’s GCSE’s finishing. Lovely venue, very atmospheric. Food really tasty, quickly delivered. Definitely becoming a family favourite

Lovely as always! I brought one of my good friends who hadn't been to Numidie before and she loved it as well. The food is so good and very friendly staff. This is my favourite restaurant in Crystal Palace.

Excellent food as always. Restricted availability on the desert front but made up for by the service and friendliness of the staff. A definite favourite in CP. A joy to eat; fish tagine and lamb shank both exceptional

Had an absolutely gorgeous meal, met the chef who has been at the restaurant since its opening and recommended food choices for the evening that certainly didn’t disappoint! Beautiful wine too and very welcoming ambiance with good service and not at all rushed. Flavours to remember… highly recommend and will be back

Not been there for ages , was all very good . Shame the crab stuffed octopus starter was unavailable, was looking forward to that .
