I have always loved the oyster bar. I've never had a meal or experience there that wasn't top notch. On the very few occasions that I don't stay at the Nugget, I always plan at least one meal there. It never disappoints.

The check in process is for a reservation needs improvement. We were told to wait in line even though we made a reservation. Then my meal came out before my shrimp cocktail. Poor servers.

This was the best meal we have had in a long time. This was like the olden days. We had out of town company that use to eat at the Oyster Bar a lot, they were very pleased.

Our waitress was doing her best. She was very nice but they were very understaffed. We did not receive water or our drinks for 30 minutes . They gave us bread with no plates. We asked for plates and it took another 15 minutes. The food was not good. Yikes!! The food was overpowered with garlic. The nugget was having a concert, but this is not a new occurrence for them. They know how busy the casino gets and should have been prepared with the appropriate amount of staff. Yikes what a horrible experience.

Awesome service and food! They make a great clam chowder and the fish and chips is super crispy with a tartar sauce that is made in-house. Not quite sure but its tangy and good. I'm a little boring but sometimes a simple dish made excellent is just as good if not better than an elaborate dish I'm just not in the mood for. Fish and chips is definitely a comfort food for me and I think clam chowder is a universal comfort food!

Marilou had a friendly greeting and had our table ready. Tatiana provided Her usual great service. Celebrating Grandparents Day, We shared Oysters on the half shell with Our Granddaughter - We dined on a Wedge Salad, a Shrimp Louie, and a Tuna Sandwich on a Crescent Roll. Everything was delicious.

As usual the Oyster Bar provides excellent food and service. The bar is usually crowded with many seeking to enjoy what it has to offer but this is not a deterrent as customers are cycled in and out in a fairly reasonable amount of time.

Fresh shelled oysters were very good. Clam dish was overcooked and rubbery as result; clams were not washed before cooking with dirt ending up on wife's blouse; broth was tasteless. Lobster, clams, shrimp on bed of rice was big disappointment; two lobster claws, overcooked and rubbery is not a meal, hardly a taste of lobster; clams, shrimps overcooked, been on steam table too long; rice and broth, tasteless, no flavor at all, may have been just hot water.

They added a tip to the bill and we didn't realize it. So when the bill was split between us, we both tipped again. It was very dark in there and we didn't realize we triple tipped on the bill. The food was great the service was great. The bar service was friendly, but slow. I would go back for sure, but I would watch the bill for the automatic tip that is added in and not tip twice.
