This is a wonderful restaurant for family & friends. The Manager was a delightful host. The outdoor seating is adjacent to lovely open outdoor public space which added a welcomed ambiance to our dining experience. We were not rushed as we enjoyed the chicken nacho starter, cold beer and chardonnay. Once we were settled in, each guest in our party enjoyed a unique and delicious meal. We left with smiles on our faces and will highly recommend this restaurant venue to our family and friends. We hope to come back soon.

The food was consistently good as usual, but our server was not. He was friendly and professional when interacting with us, but he hung out in the kitchen and socialized a lot, making us wait on our drink refills and bread. I could see him back there hanging out and chatting with other kitchen staff instead of bringing us our items in a timely manner, which was kind of annoying and not the best service.

Wait staff attentive. Teriyaki Salmon reported at our table to be wonderful with great flavor. Meatloaf was classic. All plates were abundant with food. Booths are somewhat snug but provide privacy. Love the opening bread basket and the accompaniment olive oil laced with Parmesan cheese - yummy.

Great service. We were greeted at the door quickly and seated right away. Glad that we made the reservation because there was a 35-40 minute wait for walk-ins. Our waiter was natural and efficient with good timing. We loved the appetizer (chicken dumplings that rival/surpass that of local Asian restaurants) as well as the entrees (Fish and Chips and the burger). We ordered the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and it was perfect to split, which made the price reasonable.

This place was not bad and if my friends wanted to go there, I'd go again. Flavor-wise the food was not really worth the money, but the portions were big. The mustard crusted chicken was a let down for me, it was breaded but not crispy, or flavorful, it reminded me of a burger king chicken sandwich. Edible, not bad, but also costed over $15 for a sandwich. My friend says their meatloaf wasn't bad, not amazing, but it was very big, the and potatoes were good.

Not Your Average Joe's in Woodbridge is our favorite restaurant. I'm so glad it has survived the pandemic. I hate to say we have not frequented it as much as pre-covid, but that might change soon. Cici was our waitress and she was patient with our group of six. I also had a birthday code and SIX 16-digit codes for appreciation cards that she and the manager had to key in by hand. Two did not work, which concerns me because they expire 3/31 but I'll contact the company. Overall, the food is delicious and good prices. YUM!

Overall it was good. The service wasn’t as good as we usually have there. Refills of drinks were slow. One order delivered wrong which they tried to remedy quickly but the order was still not right. (The bacon was missing from a burger this time). They refunded the amount of the bacon. It just wasn’t the same as we’ve become used to there.

Our weekly visit to NYAJ’s was, as usual, excellent. Our “go to” server, Nikki, took care of us like we were family—she makes the dining experience special. My only complaint is the terrible salt shaker-pepper grinder device. They are awful! If the top is slightly loose, you poor excessive amounts of salt on your food. Often times, because the top does not fit right, whole pepper corns dump on your salad while you try to add s bit of salt. Please replace these ASAP! Thanks

The only bad part was we had a reservation and the host sat us right by the door and it was freezing. When we asked if we could move he said no even though there were several tables open. We ended up moving and sitting at the bar which wasn’t as intimate but was at least warmer. When you make a reservation always indicate you want main seating. It’s far from the door and the noise. Next time we will do that. The host didn’t even try with us and wasn’t very nice. Food was great though.

I asked if we could sit at a booth, the attendant mumbled something and took us to a table instead, which I took to mean the answer was no, then he informed us we had an hour and a half time limit. Valentines Day- we went early (5:30 pm). Food and service was awesome! I did not like that I was greeted at the hostess stand with an announcement that we had an hour and a half to eat and then we would need to leave. This was followed by a piece of paper given to us at the table with the same message. It felt like you have too much business and we needed to eat and get out. I have loved this restaurant for a long time but that was a turnoff.

NYAJ’s is one of our favorite local restaurants and we dine there every week. We love the food and the great service. The salads, Chicken Piccata and Sheet Pan Nachos are favorites. Manager, Roy, always stops by our table to welcome us and ensure everything is all right. We appreciate that attention to detail. My only suggestions for improvement are: 1. Replace the combined salt shaker/pepper grinders—too often when shaking on salt, whole pepper kernels fall out because the top won’t tighten enough to seal the pepper compartment. 2. Ensure your reception people have the right personality/motivation to greet guests. Recently, we’ve encountered hosts who show no enthusiasm for welcoming patrons. We’ll see you again soon!

We really enjoyed dining at Not Your Average Joe's. Once again, great service, food and surroundings. Great selection of entrees and drinks. Easy to make reservations and easy to get to. Thanks again.

Great menu options—today I had a Cobb salad and my bride had chicken piccata—both excellent. Our server, Pika, was amazing—really extraordinary service.
