A Northern Italian kitchen inspired by the Bacari of Venice.

Our menu is inspired by tradition and dictated by the quality and availability of ingredients. We play off the similarities between the climates of Eastern Ontario and Northeast Italy, and create our take on classic dishes made with seasonal game, seafood and vegetables. Plus, sometimes we’ll just add whatever we want.

Fantastic meal. We ordered 6 dishes and three deserts to share among the three of us. We ate it all, and only one dish we would likely not order the next time (but even it was great). Every dish was unique and a culinary experience on its own. All together it was amazing.

We tried the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. The decor was so sweet right down to the beautiful plates and glasses. We will definitely be going back! Such a unique experience.

The food was delicious, but the service was disappointing. Both the host and our server gave the impression that we weren’t worth their time — from pointed looks to condescending tone — and carried an overall air of superiority that made us feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, their attitude overshadowed the meal. We will not be returning.

North and Navy was a complete experience. Right from the greeting as soon as we entered all the way till we left. The service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and explained the menu and all the items. They accommodated me being a vegetarian. The food was excellent. The ambience and the vibe was so moody. Perfect for our date night.

Good drinks, good food, good wines… what else can you ask for? A great service! We went with friends and the tasting menu was refreshing compared to the a la carte (which is nonetheless always a pleasure to order), nice Italian wines of various regions. Strongly recommend!

Patio was great, tables could be a touch taller. Service was perfect, management was pure class. The food was incredible. We will be back again. Theres a reason this is listed as one of the best restaurants in the country.
