Fantastic food and service despite the restrictions on dining because of covid-19. Nobu delivered excellent service.
We will keep supporting the local restaurant industry.
This was a great experience and my girlfriend really enjoyed it. Not a loud restaurant with great space for social distancing and enjoying your food without the worry of being too near people. Great experience dining inside as the last time I came here I sat outside when the weather was nicer but as the months have gotten cooler it was a nice change to sit inside the restaurant and they had set the ambience perfectly.
Too expensive for the food quality, service is ok
Absolutely amazing food and service
One of our favorites, great food across the board.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary & business anniversary. Everything was seasoned to perfection and delicious . Hands down the best Chilean Sea Bass we have ever tasted. The Nobu ceviche was to die for. Very friendly & attentive staff, they kept the drinks flowing.
Great experience with excellent service. Our waiter Daniel provided us with the best service and amazing food!
Amazing! Order the yellow tail ❤️
It’s just ok. The quality has def dropped. Not sure if it is because of the pandemic. We have been to multiple locations but this SD location is def our least favorite. Not sure if I will try this location again. Apart from the food, our server was amazing.
Food and service was great. Will be returning.
Went for my birthday dinner. Spent a lot, but it was well worth it. Amazing food and service.
Always amazing. My favorite restaurant in SD hands down. Splurge on the Wagyu and cook it at your table. You wont regret it!
The staff were all amazing but overall the food was sub par for the Nobu name. The raw fish was good but overall the other more signature dishes just missed the mark. It’s also very loud as the restaurant is next to the train rails.
Pros - great tasty food, outstanding service, located in Gaslamp district at Hard Rock Hotel.
Cons - very pricey, read to use valet but had to pay. $49 is regular charge but discounted to $25 w Nobu rez. RIDICULOUS charge. Park somewhere else or on street if u can.
4year Anniversary dinner was spectacular
The unique flavors offered by Nobu are nearly as superb as the high quality and freshness of the food.
Overall the dining experience was average. I’ve had dinner at other Nobu locations and I was expecting to have the same excellent experience. The food taste was good, but not amazing. I ordered 8oz of the Japanese A5 Wagu and steak was not tender and flavor was average. It could have been cooked better with more flavor.
Great food and fun atmosphere. Would definitely recommend dinner here.
Always good food and service
We had a reservation and got our table right away. The food was very good but so overpriced! We ordered an appetizer and a fish dish and 2 rolls, all very good. We also ordered the eggplant side and it really didn't taste very good at all. Disappointed in that. Overall, it was a nice dinner, just very expensive.
The social distancing has effected the ambiance but the food and service was fantastic as always.
The food was poetry to our palette. We had a magical time, the utmost professionalism, and service.
Always amazing. Thanks.
I always have a fantastic time here. The food is fantastic and the sushi is to die for. The lighting is perfect and the music and low noise level makes for a beautiful dinner. I asked my fiancée to marry me here and the hostess was very helpful when I asked her to direct the photographer towards our table they took them around the side and made sure my fiancée didn’t see them. After we had finished they gave us complimentary champagne and desert. Will definitely go back
Scallops were overcooked. Yellowtail collar and shishitos were very good. Flambé wagyu needed salt bad and was overcooked
We went here for our anniversary I noted it in the reservation but they did not congratulate us. It’s no big deal but some restaurants do. The service was excellent very attentive and nice. The Toro tartare with caviar had so much wasabi I could barely eat it. The sashimi was excellent and the quality of the fish is really good but the prices are outrageous I would come back for happy hour. The ambiance is ok, considering Covid and having to be outside.
The new style plates are the best. Nobu is expensive but worth it
My husband and I enjoyed every bite. The service and food was outstanding. Every dish was fabulous.
Everything is with the visit. The customer service was above and beyond! Definitely going back!
Could not say enough amazing things about the entire staff!
Loved the food and our waiter! Everything he recommended was so delicious! Due to COVID we had to eat outside which I usually love but there was a lot of people who were probably over served walking around which distracted from our dinner...but that’s out of the restaurants control...other then that it was great!
Great service like always
Consistently great food. Service has aways been great as well.
Nobu never disappoints me. We came earlier than our reservation and was seated promptly. Our server was very polite and prompt. I was recognized by one of the server because my sister worked for this location for a few years. The weather was nice, ambience was relaxing. Food was delicious including sushi. Drinks were on point, we both had martini and was given one of their special sake that was so delicious. Would come back again.
amazing happy hour!!! great service & loved their outdoor seating! Can’t wait to come back here again soon :)
Was really nice to eat outside
Overall it was just ok!
Having visited the Vegas location it doesn’t compare. Food was good but not great as I’m used to at Nobu. Service was just average at best.
Outside temporary seating due to COVID not as nice as indoors but glad they are open. Great service.
