Great service, AMAZING SUSHI!!

Highly disappointed! This location is everything except Nobu experience.

We have always eaten at the Las Vegas Nobu and loved it. San Diego didn’t even begin to compare. Lackluster service and they weren’t offering the full menu. I won’t come back to this location.

Happily surprised to be able to eat indoors! The ambiance was a little lacking, or maybe not what I'd expected for Nobu, but I'm guessing Covid regulations probably had something to do with the overall layout? Our table was a mix of a la carte and prix fixe meals. Everything we ordered was fresh, innovative and yummy! Service was great but noticeably slowed down when it came to our main courses. Maybe the restaurant became busier? Overall, we all had an enjoyable evening!

It was great as always !!
And now they has less tables that means less people and actually you can have a conversation over dinner with out yelling the other person . I love Nobu food.

Shrimp and Lobster with Spicy Lemon Sauce was amazing! Service was excellent.

This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had at Nobu. We sat outside with heaters and it was very cozy. We met the manager, Sue, who was so nice and accommodating. Our server was phenomenal and took such excellent care of us. We ordered omakase and he made sure we got our favorites plus some new things to try. Our teas and waters were never empty and everything was clean. We had the most amazing time and ate amazing food. Thank you to all who worked that night.

the first time I ever came here was about a month ago and our server was so awesome. he was attentive and made sure we had an experience. so we came back. and our server was really not the best. he barely came to our table. when we wanted to order more drinks he wasnt being very attentive to what we wanted. and I actually ordered a drink and was given a completely different drink..just not the best experience. the guy giving water was on it tho!

Eating outside, even with heaters, was not optimal. Knew that going in, but still not the experience you hope for at NOBU. Also, was my wife's birthday, placed that in the special occasion area in the reservation, called the restaurant in advance and still no acknowledgement of it.

Love this place! All time fave restaurant.

AMAZING. The food, service, ambiance, everything was great. I will definitely be coming back!

The food was fantastic, but maybe partial screens of slatted wood could be put up around the outdoor seating area to put a barrier between diners and the street, and also to mitigate the wind that can blow down L Street. Even during non-COVID times, it would make the outdoor dining area more attractive.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday and I mentioned this when I booked my reservation. There was never any acknowledgement of her birthday and they proceeded to charge us for a request of extra sliced Jalapeños.

NOBU never fails to impress! We were so grateful for the added outdoor seating. We used a Travelzoo deal on this visit, and the tasting menu wasn't as good as in the past (sushi rolls and salad were boring), but it was still delicious. Ambiance and service were awesome as always.

Great dinner per usual

We bought a 7 course tasting. Was very disappointed. It was ok but not for the price. It wasnt any better than my neighborhood sushi bar.

Another great dinner at Nobu! First time dining outdoors with this restaurant,and it was very enjoyable.

Food & service was amazing!!! Had a fantastic time, will definitely be going back!

Service was good, although was slow at some points. Outdoor set up is good with sufficient heaters

Did not mention our anniversary. Food was underwhelming considering price. Staff was cordial.

My wife & I truly enjoyed our first experience dining at Nobu. Of course the food was delicious and the servers made our night more special. Staff were all very kind and always made sure we were comfortable (a little chilly night) by asking if the burners weren’t too hot or if we were cold. We will definitely be returning and also are recommending Nobu to all of our friends & family.

Not the place to go when you’re hungry. The service was decent at best. Server didn’t even introduce himself.

The presentation, taste and variety of plates was excellent. The various ingredients was exceptional.

The Lychee Martini is our favorite drink

The sashimi and sushi were fresh tasting and nicely presented

Food was excellent. Staff was attentive and accommodating.

Valentine’s Day

Great experience but it started drizzling and the restaurant did not have enough umbrellas for the entire outdoor area so some guests sat under the rain and others were covered. Didn’t seem fair.

Excellent service and food was just out of this world. I have recommended this place to friends and family, and would go back as well.

Mickey was an outstanding server & I will continue to ask for him every time I dine here a Nobu San Diego. Everything was outstanding and super accommodating. Zero complaints! Thanks Nobu!
