   Nice if youre in the area looking for something light and different. Have been to other Nobu locations and this one is okay, but weve had much better service in other locations. Also, went to this San Fiego l9cation many tears ago when it first opened. Unfortunately, the current staff does not measure up. Theyre not bad, their just not as good.

   Lady next to us took our menu without asking and Didn’t return it she also threw her napkin onto our table which landed in my wife’s soy sauce dish, she was drunk, disorderly and flat out rude, Nobu didn’t seem to care, feeding her shot after shot and drink after drink. Our waiter provided mid service at best, service you’d expect at chillys, not a world renowned sushi restaurant. For $500 I’d expect slightly more professionalism out of the staff and other restaurant goers. We where sat next to a loud party of 10 who where howling in our ears as they attempted to talk over each other, forcing me to have to raise my voice just to order another bottle of water. Over booked restaurant with little to no care for the parties eating… $$$ is all they care about.

   Ate by myself at the bar and was blown away! Amazingly good! I Let my Sushi chef “do his thing”!!!

   The overall experience was what we expected. Food service and ambiance was above average and will def be eating here again. Thank you nobu for a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner for the wife and I

   Noisy, low budget interior, no ambiance. Sushi was average, hot dishes average. Mixed drinks were average. Desserts were inventive, fresh, flavorful and not too sweet. No bathroom in the resturant- had to search for one in the Hard Rock Hotel. Will not be back.

   We had the Omikase tasting menu with the chef’s choices. It included all the highlights of the menu. The wine list has many good choices, but no bargains. The waitstaff were excellent and accommodating. The ambience would be fine except for the pounding of the drumbeats and the resulting loudness of the clientele.

    We celebrated my birthday at Nobu, and the food and drinks were excellent, as always. Our family enjoys celebrating special occasions here. However, the restaurant was extremely full last night, and the pacing on our omakase tasting menu fell apart. At one point, my dad had sushi that he hadn't finished, lobster fritters that were getting cold, and sea bass that was going to be completely cold. I don't fault the server we had, because the rushed dishes were brought out without her involvement. Nevertheless, any well trained server would observe that no one had finished the nigiri when the lobster fritters were ready. So, I love this place, but I'll tell it as it is any time one is spending over $1k for dinner.
