Nick was our server and was pleasure to work with. The food was excellent, my partner demands quality and flavour and he gave the risotto a 10+. I had the halibut and the curried spaghetti was very delicious. We are excited to have found a local restaurant that was so enjoyable. We will be back often.

the food was excellent (portion on the small side though), the atmosphere was great-the kitchen was visible behind glass!-so no kitchen clatter! (why do other restaurants think we want to hear that), and the music not loud-such that I didn't have to shout across the table, or strain to hear. Highly recommend this restaurant

We started with bacon smoked scallops which we added an extra serving to make it shareable. Tasty but extremely small portion even with the added serving. The halibut was excellent and cooked perfectly, same for the chicken. A little pricey but not bad value The only downside was our waitress. She never introduced herself and while efficient, the best word to describe her would be “sour”.

We have been to Nineteen at least 6-8 times and have always enjoyed the experience; however on the last occasion the short ribs were not good at all--dry, overcooked, unpalatable. Noise level was high even though it was not completely full. Wine list is very good; sad to see the Tuesday wine specials disappear. The crab cakes are always great; also the lobster ravioli though it is a fairly small dish. Desserts are always interesting and very good.
