   This was our first time here and were greatly impressed with the food quality and selection. Would be five stars all around except there was an unusually long wait for salads. We'll be back!

   The ambience of this restaurant is good, specially the noise level. Unlike other places, we can actually converse here. But we had not such a great experience when it came to food. I ordered their special which was Grilled Mahi Mahi, it came out as extremely chewy and rubbery. One of my friends had ordered the same. His fish was a little better than mine. So I told the server the same and sent it back and asked for a different dish ( didn’t want to take the same chance again) The server came back and told me that the Chef had said that both the fish dishes were done at the same time, insinuating that I should not have issue with my fish as the same entré with my friend was okay. They did bring my other dish, but I thought that the Chef’s comment was completely unnecessary.

   Intimate dining space with absolutely delicious menu - all fresh, homemade pasta. The lobster ravioli special and the chicken scallopini with black truffles was out of this world!!! Will definitely be back!

    Nicola is a true gem. Our favorite restaurant in the area. Speranza and Beth are fabulous, and so is the authentic Italian cuisine.
