Situated minutes from Downtown, Nick & Sam’s is a contemporary steakhouse featuring selections of prime meats as well as American and Australian Kobe and a variety of seafood. We offer a mostly American wine list of over 400 labels plus an international selection, with 20 wines by the glass.

This is my daughter's favorite restaurant and we celebrated her 8th birthday. Amazing service, staff was great and food outstanding. She was so excited to see confetti on the table and get her lighted up cotton candy.

We were so impressed by Nick and Sam's! We went for my husband's birthday and the service was exceptional! Probably about 5+ people wished him a happy birthday and they even sprinkled confetti on the table and gave us a free champagne toast! The waitstaff was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time and we are simply OBSESSED with this place now! The food was like no other and we can't wait to come back again soon. We have already told our friends and family that they need to come to Nick and Sam's! This place will not disappoint!

You can't go wrong with their fantastic steaks and seafood as well! Service is spectacular and unobtrusive.

Food and service was wonderful as expected. The only complaint that I have was that the main dining room was quite loud and the seating was a bit tight.

Cozy bar leads to a majestic dining hall. Menu includes best assortment of wagyu this side of the Kamo River.
Champagne, Macônais, Clos Apalta and CDP from Guigal were the wines. Tatum was the server. Just 2 pax, so it was a party. Think I may have legally adopted the server.

Another lovely evening at Nick and Sams. I tried the bison this time - it was really tasty and perfectly cooked. The desert was enough for 4 or 5 people - so plan to share !!

The food and service was amazing! Unfortunately my husband and I were seated right next to the opening to the bar that was playing club music. It was so loud that my husband and I barely spoke to one another during our dinner because I’m slightly hard of hearing. I can’t remember our servers name , but he was extremely professional! We will probably go back, but make sure our reservation isn’t as late in the evening to help with the noise.

This is a great venue for special occasions. I had made my reservation several weeks in advance, however our party of six was placed in the back room. We were disappointed. The servers brought our entrees and had all the steaks mixed up and with the wrong temperatures. We didn’t complain. We did however, expect more professional service though for spending $750 for dinner.

Cool aesthetic, very lively and energetic vibe (customers as well as staff). Very much the opposite of Bob's. Very attentive and friendly staff. That is the good news.

The bad news is that the food is just so-so. Extensive menu, so perhaps based on just one visit I cannot speak to much. But the steaks we ordered were only just fine. They were served on room-temperature plates, and there was no sizzle or warmth. I almost asked them to flash it in the oven or sear it . . . but this should not be necessary.

Side dishes were fine - nothing bad, nothing great. Prices were actually more than comp restaurants such as Papa's and Bob's. Also, the cabaret tables are cute - but there are so many jammed into the room that wee were in constant fear of our food/wine being knocked off the table by people passing by. Often I had someone brush my shoulder or elbow unintentionally.
Overall just not enough space to get comfortable, spread out and relax. (And no, we are not fat people . . . not that there would be anything wrong with that!)

So overall - N&S is more hat than cattle, imo.

We had a horrendous experience...Our server Malachi was decent. The food was good but Bob’s or Ruth’s Chris are much better. The tables in the back area that is more “romantic” were ridiculously small. It seems the main area are for larger parties where it is brighter ambiance, and the tables are substantially larger for groups. It was obnoxiously loud as well, not an intimate evening at all. Wasn’t looking for quiet and cozy. Th loudness could have simply been better managed though decor and building engineering. All in all, we weren’t treated the way we should been to have a reservation for over a month to celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday, which took place the same day. It took forever for food to come so did dessert. When we ordered dessert, it was brought out with no fanfare, merely a cake with no sparklers or anything were present while other patrons did not have this experience with the same size cake and other desserts as well. The food was overpriced for what it was despite being a good meal. Again Bob’s or Ruth’s have more quality and a much better ambiance and overall experience, not to mention will also go the extra mile for a regular dining experience let alone a special occasion. We decided to take our food and dessert home due to terrible experience we had, we simply wanted to leave. When we arrived home nearly an hour later (we live in the Frisco area), we discovered all our food was not packed. To add insult to injury, we were missing our mac and cheese leftovers while our shoestring onion rings were packed individually, as were our steaks. The cake was packaged with ice cream in the same box. It melted and was not separated from the cake in a container. On The Border and Cotton Patch have this level of detail. In short, we will never return and warn other like-minded folks who have an expectation of being treated like a valued customer when most especially you spend over $200 on a good meal.
