                                                                                                                                Honestly, the worst experience I have ever had at N+S. Wendy was our waitress and her service was, well — let’s just say less than subpar. She was less than inattentive. We sat for over 25 + minutes on two separate occasions waiting for her. This was horribly embarrassing considering I was treating my boyfriend for his birthday. I have been coming here since we hosted the Super Bowl. What has happened?!? Best in Dallas? No. Wrong. I remember a time when Nick and Sam’s had Joe Palladino and Phil Romano touch each table and make sure you were having an amazing time. When the hostesses were the next up and coming models in North Texas. Sigh………times are clearly changing and not for the better.

I do plan to come back to try other steak options. Loved the touch of rose petals they placed on the table to celebrate our anniversary.

The restaurant has become old, tired and outflanked by newer upscale steak houses in DFW. The food quality was sub-par last night and the prices have gone up considerably. Always a good service experience but just not the same Nick &Sams vibe or quality as it had been for so many years.

                                                                                                                                Service was excellent, the waitstaff is attentive and personable. tables are small and crowded together making it uncomfortable and noisy. If we go again, I will reserve a banquette and not a table. The food was good but not remarkable and overpriced. The sea bass I ordered was overcooked. Another person had the surf and turf and said it was perfect. We went for a person’s birthday, and the birthday celebration cake was a hit.
