We were blown away. Jaret our waiter did a fantastic job and the food was delicious. We will be coming back!

                                                                                                                                What an experience at Nick & Sam’s — from the valet to the hostess, the experience was nothing short of incredible. Cole, our waiter, put on a show, and the food was unbelievably good. I would absolutely recommend that if you’re in Dallas, make sure to visit Nick & Sam’s. P.S. If you’re into art, you’re in for a surprise — this restaurant doubles as an art gallery, and it’s amazing. Thank you to the entire team for a great night out!

                                                                                                                                Unfortunately Nick and Sam’s has slipped over the years and no longer feel special. In the past I’d leave feeling amazed on every lever, last night I left feeling blah. Our server was good enough but again, not the amazing experiences of the past. Here’s a few callouts from last night: When ordering a glass of wine, my glass was the final poor out of the bottle that ended up being less than I’d ever received anywhere when ordering by the glass. I could see it in the servers eyes that he knew it too. The wine was flat, stale and basically terrible. We ordered salads that never made it. Steaks and sides were brought before the server realized what had happened. The overall service is rushed and odd since there are so many staff members running around. Zero clue what they all do. The “NY Sirloin” is the garbage end of the NY Strip. Many lower end places have jumped on this trend coming out of COVID with N&S’s embracing it 100%. Half the steak is the trash vein. The filet was flavorless like it was a cheap imitation. The “steak sauce” it was severed with was insulting. A scorched, burnt concoction of whatever. It’s been good in the past. The manager guy that “greets” the table with glasses of champagne is a joke and diminishes the experience, making it feel cheap and fake. Texas Roadhouse table greets feel more genuine. Sides were good, not great. Total salt fest. When booking reservation I emailed about getting an entire sheet cake like the website said to to. No response and the server said nope, he wasn’t told of it. I could go on but no need. Not a horrible experience, just not the phenomenal experiences of the past.

                                                                                                                                Monthly Sunday supper … Thai inspired menu. Wow !!! One of the best dining experiences we have enjoyed since moving here in the 90’s . We will remember last night always . Also Met Chef Samir and will definitely try his recommendation of Butter Chicken soon.
