Superb food and atmosphere. Must- visit!
We’ve come every year for Mother’s Day and it just wasn’t up to par this year.
Utter chaos for Mother's Day. It was a children's carnival and the opposite of a peaceful dining experience to celebrate with Mothers and Grandmothers. I was shocked kids were running around hitting each other with balloons courtesy of the balloon artists, fact painting, cotton candy- total kids atmosphere. I wish I had known. I would never had spemt what we spent time in a kid-centric crowded buffet. The opposite of luxury. It felt like being at a crowded Embassy Suites buffet with total chaos.
Went for Mother’s Day - they had face painting, a balloon artist and cotton candy for kids. It was a nice distraction for my kids while I enjoyed my meal. Buffet was great.
This place is excellent. My husband and I came for our 7 year anniversary. Our server Stephanie was amazing!!! She comped us some Champagne because it was our anniversary. The food was delicious. We had filet mignon, Riley, lobster mac and cheese, crab cakes, deviled eggs and caesar salad. All extremely delicious. The ambiance was great. Nice and Romantic. I will definitely be back!!!
It was my partner’s birthday. Everything was fantastic.
The food and ambiance was great as usual, but the service was absolutely terrible.
Service was poor restaurant was not crowded. Ordered the ribeye pastrami the meat was dry and the bread was barely grilled.
First Time, Friend who grew up here recommended. Santini(?) waiter was Great . Reminded me of Great NYC Steak House but with Better Meat! Couldn't do the Dirk this time but I will try it next time. Thank You for a Great Evening. 5/01/21
Overall experience was good, but disappointed in entrees and crab cake appetizers for the price as well as oversized asparagus.
It had been 2 years since we last ate here due to poor service and food quantity. It has very much improved and the steaks were good. No longer have baked potatoes bummer. The chocolate molten cake initially came out refrigerator cold , but they quickly fixed it. The place was full and the manager was definitely working to ensure everyone was taken care of.
I dined here for my birthday with a few friends. Overall, I enjoyed everything. The ambiance was great...there was a large table close that was super loud but Overall the table location was great. The food everyone had at the table was great...very fresh. The only thing I was not please with was the celebration cake they are so famous for. It’s overpriced and I didn’t get to enjoy the entirety of the experience. The cotton candy melted before I could finish eating cake. The waitress tried to convince me that it was because it was hot and humid in the restaurant. Nevertheless, I felt as though I wasted money on that “experience” since none of the cotton candy was salvageable. I would dine there again, but Probably not for a birthday celebration.
Overall good visit. Our server seemed to get lost during our visit at times.
We love this specific Nick and Sams location. It is our "go to" for all special events in our family's lives. They go over the top to ensure you have an amazing experience and will adjust according to your needs.
I miss the old menu and the grilled cheese sandwich is not as good as I recall, but the environment is sharp and pleasant and the servers aim to please.
Pre-Covid this was a favorite spot for friends and business outings. Good range of casual to high end entrees. And it was always packed with a fun vibe. Went for the first time in the "Post-vaccinated" era and it was quite a change in atmosphere. Much more subdued. (to be fair it was a Monday). Most of the guests (six or seven tables) were seated in the patio area with the bulk of the much larger restaurant empty. The food however was great as always. What surprised me was how difficult it was to get our waitress's attention. Not sure what was going on but we had long waits to order and long waits for the bill. Noone offered to serve the "group" sides and no-one offered to refill wine glasses which is a problem when you are seated at a large circular table. No one wants to ask "Hey pass the vino" :) So hoping it was an off night service-wise.
Went for son’s 13th birthday. It was fantastic. The food from the first bite of calamari to the bread to the main course and ending with the dessert was so delicious. But the birthday celebration cotton candy all lit up and rainbow 7 layer cake with sparklers made my sons birthday experience so memorable! Highly recommend.
Max at the bar rocks ! Table service so so
I really enjoyed the ambience of the Park City location. Of course the food was good and our water was excellent. As a courtesy of being newlyweds, our waiter gave us some champagne
Really great and satisfying
I'm a bit disappointed in the food as my $42 ribeye was average and my fiance's chicken sandwich was below average. The service was superior and Alex was great and very accommodating with my son's birthday we were celebrating. My son did love the cotton candy and huge cake with sparklers in it. Overall it was good, just the food was a little below where I would expect it to be in a place like this for the cost.
Didn't like it. Food was ok..expected more plus they had 1 guy who.was hostess he was the bartender and server. He was efficient but just weird
Service at the bar was slow and understaffed. Once we got seated our server was great and food was really delicious.
The worst Easter menu I have ever experienced at any restaurant in decades.
The food was terrible
The setting was soothing. Food was great. Definitely Will go again!
Family get together.
Los espárragos muy mal asados, los champiñones mal condimentados, la crema de jitomate salada y espesa, es lindo el restaurante pero no regresaría.
We had and awesome time
We celebrated a birthday. The food was incredible and the service was absolutely impeccable. Can’t wait to go back.
Very slow service and drink orders. Food was mediocre for the price. Many dirty tables around us for a Monday lunch.
Wonderful evening. Amazing service. Food was delicious!
Stephanie, was the greatest server I’ve ever had. She was so energetic and enthusiastic I had the best dinner experience. Thank You very much I will be coming back to specifically see her again!!! Amazing amazing amazing!!!!!
Great service by Alex. Gave us good recommendations. Just wish your pizza oven was working. Great meal and enjoyed catching up with friends. Reasonable prices too.
Amazing food! Amazing service!!!
This location for Nick & Sam's is a different experience than we have at the one on Maple, but the food was good and the restaurant is beautiful. It is louder and the service isn't as great, but it is a nice place to dine. And the Cotton Candy is still a big hit!
Enjoyed the friendly and engaged service throughout the night. Wonderful meal from beginning to end.
Food was so fresh and delicious
Several years ago, Nick & Sam's was a high-end steakhouse, competing with the likes of Bob's, Capitol Grill, and Perry's. Somewhere along the line they changed to cater to teens and twenty-somethings, which is fine if you're in that group. We're not twenty-somethings and were hoping for a more upscale experience.
That said, the food and service were both good. Prime Rib Egg Rolls are unique, and the Wedge Salad is HALF a head of lettuce. Caprese would be better if they used something besides arugula. The filet and NY sirloin were a well-prepared medium rare as ordered. Finally, the creme brulee came with a lot of really good berries, which was a nice ending.
Overall, a good meal and an okay experience (watch your bar bill!). If you want to have a Sweet Sixteen or rehearsal dinner, you'll probably enjoy it more than we did.
Decided to give this place a try for my 6 month anniversary. Loved the atmosphere, but everything else fell short. The highlight of the food was the Porterhouse, which was pretty solid. The salad came out literally drenched in dressing, the mushrooms were just OK, the jalapeño bacon mac was tasteless & the crab cake was well...forgettable. Additionally, when the server served the sides they spilled them all over table!!
