A great place to meet a friend for a long catch-up lunch. An original and varied menu, all of which was delicious, and very pleasant service, in tasteful surroundings.

The Anglers was a real find. So good we have booked a table for the next two nights. Excellent food, and lovely staff.

Wonderful Sunday lunch. Tender meat, great vegetable selection and super roasties and Yorkshire pudding,! Great that it was available later than 4.00pm. We visited nearby Cragside and couldn't get in many places on Sunday. Thank you

Stayed at Linden Hall Hotel for my sisters 30th, so decided to book here for dinner. Fantastic service from everyone involved. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful food. We were the last ones in the restaurant, but didn't feel like an inconvenience or rushed etc.

Afternoon tea was served in one of the lounge areas rather than the restaurant. It was very relaxed and pleasant. Sandwiches very fresh, scones warm. Everything was very tasty.
