Visiting Newcastle for only the 2nd time I remembered this pub as being excellent. It did not disappoint. The food was terrific with a large choice from the seasonal menu. Jo looked after us really well. An all round great experience.

Great place for lunch in Newcastle. The food was good, the service was very well timed and friendly, the atmosphere was ice, without intrusive music and the cos was reasonable.

First time visiting. Was loud when arrived. Service was good. Food was great. Found a gold mine when they got the chef. Music was great too. Will definitely visit again.
