   This place is intimate and cute. The server Stephen was awesome. He had the answer to every question and we never felt like we were waiting. All the food was good and cooked to perfection.

    My wife and I went for our first visit. Our expectations for a steak house are quite high. Our food was PERFECT and service was excellent. Even the desserts didnt disappoint. We would highly recommend this location and will certainly be back!

    First trip but food was wonderful as was our server from Ft Mill, SC. It’s a littler tight in the booths at the bar with tables beside you and bar seats . It’s very dark & speak easy looking. Updating fixtures and ceiling tiles would be an improvement but the sea bass and steak were the best we’ve ever had! We will return .

    I was not expecting the ambiance of this restaurant! We’re from Ohio and don’t have anything as fancy as New York Prime. The steaks are so buttery and delectable! The house made Caesar dressing is to die for!

    While the service and overall experience was well done, the steak did not have the flavor of prime beef. I have had prime beef at several other restaurants and also grilled prime steaks from Costco and found better flavor. It make me wonder if they are really selling prime steaks.

    Celebrated our 35th Anniversary here ... however we love it so much that we don't need a celebration reason to get us there! Staff was impeccable as always and our waiter Joshua was fantastic!!

    Wonderful experience! It was our daughters birthday and they went above and beyond for our special occasion! Staff were wonderful…very attentive and nice. All of the meal was very pleasant! And the food was Phenomenal!! Can’t wait to go again!

    Our service was perfect as always. Shrimp was old and stringy, oysters were just okay. Our steak was good but the sea bass was not up to par, over seasoned and not cooked properly. It was not the best meal we’ve ever had there. Disappointing since it was my Birthday dinner.

    Food , as usual, was great; all 7 of us agreed. However, service was very slow, including a very long wait for our food and an even longer, unexplainable wait for our check (s). We usually brag about the great service....but not last night. We will of course come back, with fingers crossed that the above was an anomaly.

    The courtesy valet was impeccably well mannered. The service was beyond expectations. Best steak in Myrtle Beach. The warm apple walnut pie was like homemade. The wedge salad was crisp and fresh. Their blue cheese dressing is outstanding. The best I’ve ever had! Will definitely go back again

    NY Prime needs a new air conditioning system. Always very warm to the point of being uncomfortable. Service is very slow if you are there between 7 pm - 9 pm.

    Superb service. Steak was out of this world as well. The butter cake was something I would literally go back just to have again. Ambiance is a tad off as it is extremely loud inside the restaurant. Overall, excellent dining experience.

    Our first time at this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. First sat right by door and host stand at a four top for two of us. Probably not the sought after spot. Noisy. Disruptive. Asked for a better spot as several open. Moved to better location. Server attentive, friendly. Didn’t care for charring on my petite filet. Ordered medium. Some was well done (charring?) Nice Caesar salad but too much dressing for my liking. All I could taste was the dressing. Cheesy mashed potatoes were good. One order enough for four. Not sure why reservations ask for the occasion of the dining because no recognition of birthday. It was ok. 4 out of 5 stars. I’ve had better. And worse. Sea Blue was my birthday dinner surprise and I think nicer for food taste. Not as loud so table conversation was easy. Still had a great experience

    Vacationing with the wife and wanted to have a nice night out. I made reservations a few days before arrival and was looking forward to trying this place. The service is top notch at every point valet to servers. The gentleman at the front podium was great and seated us 5 minutes before our reservation time. The steaks were the best we ever had and the sides are huge. I’m really glad we went and had a great evening

    To say that the food at New York prime steakhouse was superb would be an absolute understatement! The fillet mignon was some of the best we have ever eaten. The à la cart side dishes of Lyonnaise potatoes as well as mashed potatoes were enough to feed quite a few people and the taste and flavor was spectacular. Our server, Nicole, could not have been more efficient and friendly. Not overbearing, just the exact right amount of service and provided with a smile. I would highly recommend this restaurant any time you are in the Myrtle Beach area and we will, most definitely, be going back when we return. Significantly better than other steak houses in that area.

    It was our 1st year anniversary & they decorated the table for us for free. Valet was tip only & so fast and nice. They opened the doors for you. Always served the last first. Cut our food for us to split. It was exceptional. I have never been wined and dined like that ever.

    Steaks are served Pittsburgh at this restaurant . However ours were so charred that all you could taste was burned meat. The asparagus was over cooked and under seasoned served with hollandaise sauce that seemed to be out of a bag. The cheese mash potatoes were instant mash with cheese on top. No flavor. And had a texture of baby food. Service was good. Not great. Really left with a bad taste in my mouth. Not the experience I was expecting from a long time establishment.
