    Unfortunately, our steaks were all WAY over cooked. It was a celebratory dinner for 6 old friends, and 4 of us had terrible meals. We have always loved going to this special restaurant, but something very wrong is happening in the kitchen.

    This was likely our last visit to the Chop House. Prices are exorbitant. We have been coming here for years. The Well Fleet Oysters were $72 dollars a dozen and not very good. Wines by the glass are as much as $28 a glass. Our server was good except for he forgot the lime wedge in my drink. When it arrived at the table the edges were turning brown. I asked for a fresh one and he brought more and explained that they are cut fresh daily ? Dinner was very good, onion soup, the wedge salad, and the scallops. We ordered the flourless choclate cake. The waiter informed us that all desserts are made in house. It was terrible and had the consistency of a previously frozen chocolate cake purchased from a restaurant food purveyor.

    We love the Chop House. It’s always a fun place to celebrate a special occasion. The service was amazing and despite the fact that my filet was slightly overcooked, we will definitely go back!

    We had high hopes for a great meal but were very disappointed in our food. We ordered the Salmon & Pan Roasted chicken. They were both very bland, I’m not sure if the chef was new or just having a bad night but i wouldn’t go back. It’s way overpriced for the quality.

    Maryssa was one of the top servers that we have ever had. to the smallest detail, remembering what are wine selection was from previous visits  The chop house is known for its steaks, and they never let you down.

    Outstanding restaurant. We met another couple and they graciously accommodated us with a table for four. Waitstaff was attentive. Food was excellent. French onion soup was delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We stayed late but we’re never rushed out. All in all, a wonderful evening!!

    The food and service has improved significantly. Overall consistency has also increased quite a bit. Personally, I think simplifying the menu has helped a lot. Their onion soup is world class and the wedge salad is a meal unto itself. The horseradish sauce is absolutely delicious. Your dining experience will be topped off by excellent mixologists at the bar.

    Our server Ethan was terrific. Best martini I’ve had in a long time. The bone-in bison ribeye with the three sauces was a home run. Service was on point with drinks and different courses arriving with perfect timing. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Telluride.

    Superb service by our waiter Ian. Delicious steak, salmon and brussel sprouts. Only disappointment was they were out of 2 choices of wine but let us have a more expensive one at a lower price. Very nice of them.

    Excellent dinner at the Sheridan Chop House. My husband hasn’t eaten red meat for 3 years. He decided to go for a filet mignon. He was not disappointed. I had the ribeye, also excellent. We paired it with pepper sauce, horseradish sauce and mint sauce. The pepper sauce was our favorite. Additions were cornbread, potatoes and spinach. Finished our meal with crème brûlée. We left happy and full. It is a dinner we will not forget. Of course seeing the naked bike riders cycle by the restaurant was memorable too!

    From placing the reservation to paying the invoice-Everything was 1st Class and well done. Always an active crowd with great people watching. The Som recommended a Pinot Noir that was a $100 less than my choice. We always stop over in Telluride on our way home to Scottsdale from The Broadmoor. Highly recommended. 👍🇺🇸👍 Johnnyyale

    Chop House is our favorite restaurant to dine when we are in town. The entire experience from start to finish is always top notch!     I have dined at the Sheridan Chop House for over a decade now, and the place never ceases to amaze me. The Managing Partner, Ray Farnsworth, checked in on us, ensured we had a great experience, and is clearly passionate about what he does. They had a special that was shrimp and grits...it was out of this world. Our server Brian paired it perfectly with the cornbread side and a glass of white. The bartender Steve Foster made the best Flatliner I have ever had. I absolutely love the staff, ambiance, and cuisine here. We went to celebrate our anniversary. This is the perfect spot for a special occasion or just a fun night out on the town.

    This is an outstanding restaurant experience! The host greeted and seated us promptly. The food was amazing, every dish was a perfect combination of flavors, from salad and starter to steak, sauces, and dessert. Our waiter was attentive to our needs without hovering over us, drinks were refilled before we could ask, dishes were removed, and every course was perfectly timed. He made excellent recommendations. The manager also stopped at our table to inquire about our experience. The restaurant is luxurious without being formal, very comfortable. Definitely worth the cost!!

    Really looking forward to eating here & was disappointed. The Bison was overcooked ( even after sending it back the first time). Lamb chops had no flavor. Server seemed rushed and did not even clean table.
