Afternoon Tea

Not your average tea salon, Neverland is an amalgamation of everything we love: celebration, decadence, ritual, whimsy and creativity. We love variety, so we offer you options on which Neverland experience is right for you. Slip in for a quick indulgence at our Tea Bar Bakery, or enjoy our formal high tea service in our Neverland Room.
For those with dietary intolerances, our chef, Gordon Kuang, has also customized a complex blend of flours to create gluten-free options that are literally indistinguishable in taste and texture from our regular items. The idea is to have those with dietary restrictions not just feel included, but honoured for their differences. No dairy or gluten, and Vegan? We promise to wow you with indistinguishable variations of our high tea pastries, talk-of-the-town scones and full lunch menu.
Please respect our 1 1/2 half hour seating during busy times. Weekends and holidays are a minimum spend of $15 per person, High Teas are per person only.

My server went out of his way to give me stickers when I told him I was making a travel scrap journal. I was grateful. That was out of his way.

There were several children running around the shop on a Monday afternoon which made it hard to have a conversation. Otherwise great.

We were celebrating my friend’s Birthday 🎂 and went for High Tea but they have other options as well as gluten free and vegan options. It was lovely and Dalton was our waiter. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the different teas. We could try as many as we wanted. We tried two different ones. The food was excellent. Five different little sandwiches, a scone and four different little desserts. Would highly recommend it.

This is my favourite place to go for high tea. Having been to other places in the city, Neverland has a delightful menu with a wide variety of creative treats that tickle the palette regardless of the dietary options and/ or allergy accommodations you may require. I love the whimsical atmosphere and bring many of my friends and family here to experience it. They have a regular two hour seating for weekdays, but weekends are only an hour and a half, so if you’re planning for a catch up with a friend, plan for the weekday seating as on the weekend you will feel a little rushed.

This was my first time there and I had their Vegan Afternoon Tea (Holiday menu and we chose the demi, which is just a few of their menu items). I have a lot of food allergies so I always choose vegan if it's an option. I really enjoyed their teas and my sister took a few to go as well. As for the food, it was alright. It wasn't the best vegan food I've had but it wasn't bad. If you're not a fan of Daiya cheese like me then you will not enjoy their quiche. One of our desserts was a bar with chocolate drizzle on top and my sister and I found it a bit dense. Despite the fact that I wasn't a huge fan of what we ate, I'd probably go back again for High Tea or just for lunch. It's definitely worth a try.

It’s always a holiday tradition to indulge in high tea here. We had great table seating with view of the tea cups hanging overhead above the chandeliers. The staff are mindful of the 1.5 hour allotted and we were able to sample 2 pots of tea with third to go. Place has been redecorated with more seatings for group but still retain its whimsical charm - only suggestion is to address the annoying (fruit) flies buzzing around. The savoury offerings (salmon mousse, turkey and another sandwich with puff pastry) were quite nice but was disappointed that there were no sweet substitutions for (chocolate) allergies. Given patron allergy, still given a chocolate cookie as take-away. Overall, $45 for 4 savouries, 4 sweets (duplicates of 2) and scone with fraiche cream & jam was bit pricey but provided quality time together.

I have been to Neverland for special occasions and everytime they were great! This was the first time ever they ran out of scones! No scones, special devonshire cream and home made strawberry jam, I cannot say enough that really made the afternoon tea experience slightly off. The rest of the food were great, and yes the server did offer us one extra sandwich or bake good in replacement of the scone. I cannot say that I am impressed this time around, especially when I reserved this in advance.

When one makes a reservation, a table should be ready for you.
Had to wait 5 minutes although tables free as "computer" being used by someone else?
Although I had made the reservation, the waitress kept addressing my friend (who was my guest) and offered her water and not me (she didn't want any, but I did)
and then my guest was handed the bill??????
Noisier than the last time I attended in May.
Food good, I will return one more time to see if service was a one-of situation.

I love this place! The staff are always so incredible, kind, and seem to take pride in what they do. The tea list is extensive and amazing; the options are endless! I am gluten-free, so I always get the gluten and dairy-omitted high tea. Everything included is delicious and great value. I tend to go for the demi tea option, as it can be quite filling. I’ve also had their regular menu items and everything I’ve tried has been amazing. This is a perfect place to go catch up with your best friend.

I brought my 84 year old Grandmother here the other day for her birthday. We really enjoyed the food on the Holiday High tea menu. Our server was lovely, but unfortunately the service itself was quite slow. It was also very loud inside (due in part to a large group sitting next to us), which took away from our experience a little. Overall, we had a very nice time and would definitely go back.

Overall our experience was grand! The service was EXCEPTIONAL - the waiters (aka tea steeper’s) were very attentive, informative and welcoming. The food was very good, but there were a few items that my mom and I did not care for. Although it’s hard to please every single person as taste varies from person to person. Unfortunately one of the draw backs to a smaller, 1 room facility is that when it’s packed - it tends to be quite noisy and hard to have a conversation/hear the people you’re there with. I do find the price to be a bit steep as well, as most food items are bite sized.
We had limited time there so we were only able to try a 3 teas each (out of 72 options!!), despite having chosen the option for unlimited teas. If you have a few hours to spend trying teas and catching up with friends, you get more of your money’s worth! Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely go back in the future!

An enchanting afternoon tea experience. It was whimsical and lovely and my boyfriend and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. We will absolutely be back. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The tea selection was fantastic. Excellent options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten and dairy-free and meat-eaters alike. Truly a gem.

Great atmosphere and a wonderful selection of teas that were all fantastic. I'd love to go back and try some others. The menu changes with the season, we had the Holiday menu that featured a turkey and cranberry finger sandwich, roasted yam pastry and an eggnog and vanilla rooibos cake (among many others) that was delicious.
While the price can seem a little high for the High Tea menu, it is overall worth the experience and array of foods and teas you get to try.

This is the second time my friend and I have been here and, if anything, this time was even better.

The menu changes with the season, so this was their winter menu. There are only two differences between the regular and vegetarian options and even then everything looks nearly the same.

This time, I had a London fog, then a lavender Earl Grey, both of which idea highly recommend.

The place is not presentable for high tea salon. The sofas are dirty and old. The Mac and Cheese I ordered for my daughter was cold and hard to chew she ended up eating only a small portion of it. The server Sarah was great and attentive but the place and foods are poor quality.

We went for my mum’s 79th birthday celebration, we really enjoyed it but it is quite expensive for what you get, we paid $48/person. We really enjoyed it and would go back. We have never gone for high tea so perhaps that’s what the price is. Again, we really enjoyed it and are happy we went❤️

Our reservation was for high tea lunch for 6 on Saturday 12 noon in early December. It was much busier than I expected there, as we had to wait for our table until 12:15-12:20 to get seated. And at the end of our lunch we were told our 2 hours time slot was up and the next reservation will be waiting so we had to leave by 2pm. We definitely felt being rushed the last 5-10 there, and it wasn't even 2 pm yet; but I didn't see those ladies before us were being rush out while we were standing there waiting for our table.

We had sufficient time to enjoy our high tea lunch, and service was good and all; but it would be much nicer if we didn't have to experience that at the end.

I think they can find a way to improve their reservation scheduling; instead of booking noon, 2pm & 4pm, try booking 12, 2:15 & 4:30. And also not to seat a big group at 11 am while there is already a reservation for that table at 12 noon.

The decor and food was great but the service was disappointing. I had called ahead the day before to let them know we where coming for a birthday and they told me they would do a special birthday plate. This was never done even though when I was paying for the meal I mentioned it and they found it was noted in the reservation. When we first got there we were told we could pick a seat in the restaurant and then after we were seated they asked us to move to another table. When our food was brought out it wasn’t the gluten/dairy free option we requested and had to go back. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant but there were a lot of hiccups that could have been avoided to make it a better experience.

Great spot for having tea! Cute and cozy with lovely China tea cups. Huge selection of tea which is never-ending so you really can sample a few types and find your favourites which you can buy and take home too. Delicious sandwiches, great scones and nice dessert selection. Some desserts are hit and miss and too sweet for me but overall the food is pretty solid.

We went in last week and the menus were super confusing, there were too many of them. The raspberry tart had moldy raspberries on it and the eggnog cake was tasteless. Really understaffed, we waited and hollered for 20 minutes just for a glass of water. This is suppose to be a more posh tea place to go to, I wonder what happened. It used to be great before.
