- JJennSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe made dinner reservations to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We were greeted at the door and our coats were checked prior to being seated. My husband ordered the Old Fashioned and it was wonderful. I chose the wine pairing which was very well done and complimented each course with appropriate pours. The service was more of a performance that had to be timed perfectly to accommodate each course with a detailed description and a bit of a cultural lesson (Greek menu), while also ensuring that an appropriate pacing kept the flow moving in the dining room - well done! The service staff was attentive, very personable, and professional. Each course was beautiful and delicious! It was fun to try so many different foods and flavor combinations that we would never be bold enough to order off of a menu. Portions were perfect in the sense that we had a definite feeling of being full about half-way through dessert and coffee. We left without one complaint. The intention was to provide our daughter an "experience" for her birthday, and we were not disappointed! I was concerned about the noise level and having difficulty engaging in conversation without the distraction of other guests in such a small, intimate space. However, this was not the case at all. I made a comment on our reservation asking that we be seated at a table to accommodate low volume and this accommodation was met, although probably not needed. Is it expensive by comparison to most Wenatchee dining offerings? Yes. Is it for everyone? Probably not. Is it apparent where your money is going in terms of service and quality? Absolutely! I have read some Reddit posts from people complaining about the cost and nit-picking the tiniest details (most of them ridiculous) and I can honestly say we experienced none of that. If you have the opportunity and the means, then I highly recommend doing so. We had a wonderful time and will be back for another "experience"!More infoVelveteenPrice: Very Expensive• Global, International• Wenatchee•4.9
