Hazel Dell Restaurants

My mother lives this place . Serves comfort food in a cozy atmosphere. She lived her meatloaf. We enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip w/rustic bread and the bread pudding and torte were delicious. The only negative was the place was full, Thus our waitress did her best and we liked her, but did not check back after our food was served. My husband‘s pork chop was dry to the point of inedible and my fresh salmon was completely overcooked. ( She was kind enough to take the pork off our bill.) The sides that came with these dishes were delicious. It was really disappointing as it was my mother‘s 87th birthday. I’m just glad she enjoyed her meal. I ordered a glass of all back, which had a nice pour and my Spanish coffee was delicious. Will be back, however we specify how we want our food cooked!!

Wonderful table overlooking the river on a blue-sky sunshine filled day. Great service. Delicious and healthy food! Twigs is a favorite restaurant of mine!

Brazilian cheese was fantastic and so was the service. We had the NY strip and seared chicken. Both were just fine.

Overall, my first dining experience here was good, though not great. The service was wonderful. The drinks (old fashioned) were very good. The ribeye was a little fatty and thin and the salmon was small and a bit overdone for its price as an add on. Desserts were fine. I’ll return to give it a chance to wow me.

The only complaint I have was it was loud. Food good and the service was great.
