Everything was good other than the noise level made it hard to talk amongst the table.

We posted an oh so positive review directly on Oliver’s website. Beautifully presented Brie with cranberries and nuts served with fresh great quality bread; two of us relished our souvlaki salads; my hubby enjoyed his delish walleye sandwich with sweet potato fries. Cuz Ann was delighted with her baked walleye served with plenty of fresh broccoli and rice. We enjoyed a waffle dessert with THE creamiest ice cream, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, FRESH berries and real whipped cream. Our fave server, John, was attentive, warm, personable, knowledgeable of the menu and prep and just rounded out a beautifully and delightful evening.

Our server was excellent! We were there to celebrate the birthday in was offered cheesecake bites for dessert. Our food was very good and came out in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is the restaurant is always cold! We sat beside the fireplace and ask the server if they could turn up the heat and he said that he would try at least. Every time I go it is freezing in there, including the restroom. Dress warm. The Cork 1794 is the best restaurant in the city, it exceeds on every measure thanks to the competent management. The food never disappoints, the chef and staff are creative and generous, the atmosphere is sophisticated but not pretentious. The service reflects their experience in the hospitality industry. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They elevate the experience. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Our meal was great and they may have installed new sound deadening dividers as it seemed quieter that before. It was not ever noisy but the sounds does appear more muted. Olivia was our waitress and she may have been new, but she was very good. Overall we had a great experience.
