Not only was the place, beautiful and the ambience, warm and inviting, but the staff was exceptional. They treated me to a delicious piece of cake with a candle and really made my night. Our server was courteous and efficient. Our only dissatisfaction was half way thru our orders, the time between servings was very slow compared to what it had been at the start. The problem seems to be the kitchen staff not being able to keep up with customers orders coming in. This needs attention from the management. We appreciated the southern twist on familiar foods. We especially enjoyed the blackened fish tacos and the grilled pimento cheese and bacon sandwich. Our server prepared a special blood orange seltzer drink which was delicious and the extra attention was appreciated.
