Chelsea Restaurants

From the moment we entered the restaurant we were quite impressed by the overall decor. We were placed in a perfect table for our group and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the jazz musicians throughout the night. Our waitress was exceptional and when I asked for recommendations for wine she brought in the bartender who picked out a perfect wine for our group. Food and drinks were exceptional, and very reasonably priced. Ancillary staff was quite courteous and professional. Although I live in Atlanta, we frequently visit Ann Arbor . This will always be one of my top choices of restaurants going forward.

Always a classy and comfortable place. Great and unique ambiance. High quality food and service. Enjoyed the live piano music throughout dinner -- loud enough to be heard, but not so loud as to distract or dominate conversations. Lamb chops were amazing.

I think people feel Gandy Dancer is a very expensive restaurant but we went there for lunch and honestly -- you can pick cheaper items, and we were very pleased with quality of the food and the price. Our total bill for 2 was under $60 and we had drinks, soups, sandwiches, they served bread and we got a complimentary dessert (birthday) -- I was amazed at prices -- I paid more at other restaurants in the area with way less ambiance -- like $40 for just me! Plus place is just beautiful - and they are fixing up area around Broadway Bridge -- so looks very nice -- I was quite surprised at quality of food, but most of all value -- really expected it to be double what it was.

The food and ambiance is always excellent and our favorite server Caitlin does an impeccable job and is always top notch!

The food was spectacular and the service was great. We loved the cocktails as well!
