Everything about this restaurant is positive. The food is excellent with the new chefs menu a joy. The welcome from all staff is extremely friendly and the service first class.

Lovely birthday lunch with friend. Not keen on the dressing on salad could not eat, but cheese and bacon pancake was delicious. The prawn and salmon roll was also lovely but the extra fries not to my taste. Had to wait a while to get service for more drinks and dessert, the restaurant was not so busy but no set staff for table. Elton mess dessert was huge, but we both managed to eat it all . Will try the afternoon tea next time .

first experience - everything about our visit was very good / excellent - definitely be returning, no question.

From the moment we arrived we felt very relaxed and special. The restaurant itself is intimate and calming. There are only 10 tables and just two sittings so no hustle and bustle around you. The hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their food and drink. The food itself was fabulous. Presented beautifully and a good mix of choices. The chef is happy to make small changes too. All in all a wonderful evening.
