Outstanding meal with friendly efficient service and stunning views out to sea.

Freshly made food was so worth the price charged. We went on a Monday which is the Mexican menu and the burritos were excellent! I had the halloumi one and my husband the beef. Both of us were very happy with our meals. If you require a large meal you might want to consider the side dishes to accompany the burritos but they were more than enough on their own as a good portion.

Lovely to return to The Nest. The restaurant has really settled into a fabulous place. Warm and inviting. Love the log fire, welcomed on a ferocious night ! Polite and attentive staff. Food terrific. Love all the lovely crockery and table wear. Perhaps some choice table cloths during the winter and some cozy rugs ? Otherwise a truly great experience. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you

Well I was greatly surprised and impressed at what they have done to the White horse. The food is extremely good also very good price’es Also the staff very attentive. We shall definitely visit again. Thank you

Had a wonderful evening at the Duck. Second time of visiting but probably 5 yrs apart and it hasn't lost any of its charm. Saturday evening with 2 or 3 course option offering varied choices. Only supplement was the Duck which my daughter and I had. So glad we did. Won't ruin surprise but was well worth the addition. Great service, attentive staff. It was special occasion because my daughter had got engaged, so so they made it special with presentation plate and some bubbles. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to the Duck
