We went for a my birthday dinner. The setting is stunning, the view over the marshes is really lovely. We started with some sourdough and whipped butter while we were waiting for our food. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite to our taste, the butter was a little tasteless and it didn’t work well with the bread which was a little on the sour side for my liking (I’m a baker by profession), but this is just personal taste rather than a fault with the bread itself. We went for pork sausages and fish and chips for the kids. Portions were generous. I opted to for the grilled seafood and my partner the pork chop. Both were nice but not outstanding and the seafood dish cost almost £35. Service was good and the waiter spotted that the octopus was missing from my dish before I did which was dealt with and much appreciated. If we were to visit again I think I’d been keen to dine outside and take more advantage of the lovely views.

Absolutely superb Sunday lunch, food delicious, house red was great, Yorkshire’s HUGE! We all loved it and will be back!

Great place, fantastic food, good attentive service and good value for money

Was an excellant meal staff were very friendly and even it was quite busy it was not loud . Will definetly be back
