Quick efficient service. Food was very tasty and nice size portion

A really good country pub. We went there for a Saturday lunch. Good wine list, menu and staff were spot in. It's not the cheapest but it's value for money because the food is top quality. It's in a beautiful village with a stran running past.

Last minute change to our plans as booked elsewhere and had to change at last minute. 6.39 sitting. 5 people. Easy booking online. Not many there at that time so ambiance wasn’t buzzing. But food good and service friendly and professional and answered our questions. Food all good One member of our party who is a chef thought the hand cut chips were a bit ‘old’. Good portions and well presented food. Thank you.

Lovely shared starter of seafood sizzler. I had a delicious prawn and crab linguine as a main, my partner had the fish and chips. The apple and blackberry crumble was nice but too hot for my partner and it never really cooled down. I had Eton Mess which I usually love but I felt it needed a bit more meringue. We were the only people in the restaurant area most of the time which meant that the service was very fast and we were finished within 1.5 hours. That said the waitress was very pleasant and efficient. All in all a lovely evening.

Was amazing. The drinks were amazing and the staff were so friendly and helped me decide what I wanted to drink! The atmosphere was lovely and the decor is stunning! Couldn’t recommend it anymore, going to tell all my family and friends about this lovely bar.
