Overall very nice roast lunch. A little on the expensive side

We had a such a lovely evening at the Mermaid. The food was amazing, lots of choices and absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They all knew the menu and were able to give good recommendations. The whole restaurant had a great feel to it. Would definitely recommend.

We had dinner at The George Grill as part of an overnight stay and found it to be excellent. The food was delicious and well presented, and the staff were professional and welcoming. A big thank you to our waiter (who was from the Canary Islands) and was friendly, very attentive and provided an excellent service. We had the Romney Marsh lamb for starters which tasted amazing, followed by the Hake and clams with coconut verde sauce, equally delicious. Dessert and cheeses were fab. The following morning we thoroughly enjoyed the continental and cooked breakfast. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the smoked salmon was high quality. This is our second visit here and although the menu may be limited for some, it is of high standard.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening- staff pleasant and attentive- food was exceedingly delicious- couldn’t fault it. My friend also loved the ambience and would be revisiting with her husband Will also be returning
