The food is good here, yes. But honestly, it is the people that work here who really impress. They are friendly, welcoming, efficient and great in a crisis. I dined here last night, by myself at the bar, on my way home. I got a delicious burger with bacon jam and cheddar that was mouthwatering flavourful. The fries it came with were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was an exceptional, light meal. Around the halfway mark of finishing my burger the power in the entire restaurant and surrounding area went down. Everyone was left dining in the dark. The staff were without means of providing some of the basic services we have become accustomed to in our computer driven society. They more than made up for it across the board. From my vantage point at the bar I could observe the breadth of the room. The staff were all completely engaged with every single table and customer, handling their needs with cheerful smiles. The management came around to every table checking on their clientele and giving out $10 coupons for their next visit. Honestly, the situation could not have been handled any better. The responsiveness, care and lightheartedness that was present in everyone from the bus person, bartender, wait staff and floor manager to the general manager was exemplary. I highly recommend Harpers Landing in Oakville to anyone who has a desire for unsurpassed service and great food.

Impeccable experience all around. Our server took great attention to detail by also remembering it was mine and my partner’s anniversary and gave us complimentary glasses of champagne to start off our night. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful from inside. Every dish and drink we ordered was spot on and nothing short of perfection. Truly a great dining experience, we will definitely be back!
