Another great experience ! Booked a table for 5pm and expected it to be empty but it was full and lively with a great atmosphere. This is why the booth seating is a real winner in my view, not only for the comfort but it allows for cosy conversations without the need to shout across the table. Food & service were excellent. My only slight disappointment is I find the menu a bit limited as it’s predominantly a steak restaurant . I would recommend checking out the menu choices on their website before making a booking. But overall another great night. Well done and thank you to the team 👍

Absolutely fantastic food, amazing service and the ambiance of the restaurant is second to none

The fourth time we have visited Eight at Gazegill and the fourth time we have had a fabulous time there. The food and the service is exemplary and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Love the fact that the menu changes with what's currently available and in season. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone and have indeed brought several friends who, have all very much enjoyed it too.

As always the food was amazing. Only constructive criticism is that the Panna Cotta has changed to strawberry Flavour on a Prosecco jelly base, the original version is much nicer. This doesn’t mean it was bad, it was just disappointing. However, overall the food was delicious.

An incredible meal and overall experience. The staff are fantastic, so helpful and knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu. It was my birthday, I was astounded to find they'd placed a helium balloon and a birthday card on the table. I have always wanted to try lobster thermidor, so was delighted to try that which included prawns and baby scallops. My wife had a seafood crepe which was quite unusual and delicious. If you want incredible food without the formality of fine dining then look no further - most definitely our favourite restaurant in Yorkshire.
