Kirkby Fleetham Restaurants

An absolutely lovely country inn which has a great atmosphere and all the staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. Food was amazing, best Sunday lunch we’ve had. The pub also has rooms for overnight stays and hook ups for motorhomes. Never been before, but we’ll certainly be returning.

We were on holiday north of Richmond, we came across the Wensleydale heifer a year ago when we had a short break in the area. This was now our third visit and the occasion was for our early retirement and well worth the 40 minute drive. Pleased to say it would still be our go to restaurant if we were staying in the vicinity again. Excellent attentive service, very good drinks and food menu. Good variety of non alcoholic drinks for the driver so you don't feel like you are missing out. The food was delightful!!! They also have rooms and a cottage. A quote from the wife "glad we're not local otherwise I could see us quite often", says it all really.
