Wonderful evening- we had arrived 15 mins late but the team were so understanding. We were shown to our table with scrabble tiles making up our name which was such a fun touch. The menu with 5/6 starters and mains is varied but concise. The cheddar soufflé may have been the standout starter, but the chicken liver parfait and the salmon tartar almost equally delicious. The main courses came swiftly which meant delicious food kept coming, slow roasted shoulder of lamb, rib of beef and sea bass. I couldn’t fault it. Even my request to have a birthday message on a pudding plate was met with smiles and nodding “of course”. Fantastic evening. Wonderful staff and we will definitely be back. Thank you. (Also- if you don’t spend at least 5 mins rearranging the scrabble tiles to make words from your surname you are missing a trick! )

Amazing food, place, ambience, and staff. This is one of our faves, and we more or less visit weekly, and it never disappoints. Thanks again for a wonderful meal 😋

Staff were so friendly and helpful as one of our party had allergies, went above and beyond to accommodate. Food was tasty and fresh and atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Definitely recommend.
