Brighton Restaurants

Brighton is a rapidly growing small city just outside of Detroit. The city's fast growth has spurred development of many casual dining options, including food trucks and diners that are located throughout the West Grand River and Town Square areas. The local specialties include American comfort foods such as gourmet macaroni and cheese, Angus burgers and dressed-up hot dogs with mustard and relish. The area has many people of German and Irish descent, which is reflected in the various microbreweries and pubs featuring locally brewed craft beers. The area also has many people of Polish descent, which is celebrated each year on Fat Tuesday as people line up to purchase freshly made paczki pastries.
