i don't go to the Ferry often at dinner time but decided to eat there with two friends who live locally and they were very impressed. Just as at lunch times a really friendly welcome, excellent service and great food with special mention for the Halibut (again) and fish and chips. busy as always with a great atmosphere. It is worth travelling a long way for an evening here.

We had dinner here. Great food, lovely pub atmosphere, cheerful and accommodating staff. I can highly recommend it.

A couple on holiday. The Landgate bistro is not one of those big places but a smallish welcoming bistro. The menu was excellent so we found it difficult to choose, having made our choice we then received two portions of focaccia with a dip and then along came an amuse bouche of a mini fish cake. Both delicious. Our shared choice of scallops - excellent. Mains Guinea fowl -excellent. Desert - just had a scoop of mango sorbet and vanilla ice cream was a lovely finish to an excellent meal with friendly service. Considering the quality of the food the price was reasonable. If we lived in the area we would certainly go again.
