Sandown Restaurants

This was our first time at the Smoking Lobster in Cowes, we had been at the other one in Ventnor and both are excellent, and we will be back!

Loved it enough to return a second time during a six night stay on the island. The food was fantastic. We ordered a selection of tapas on our first visit and treated ourselves to the tasting menu the second time. Great food, great drinks, great team cooking and serving. The frontage of the restaurant isn't appealing, so you start to imagine it's not a great place, but it's lovely inside with a good atmosphere. And it's located on the seafront, so thr views are perfect. Thanks, team!

Great vibe, great service and very tasty food. Only criticism is that the music was a little (too) loud. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!

My friend and I were given a lovely table by the window at Carluccio's in Portsmouth. The service was friendly and efficient throughout - and the food was absolutely delicious!

A warm welcome and great food as always thank you to Michael and team. Nina was friendly polite and efficient. One of us had the ribs this time and said it was a delicious dish. Generous portion too. When we visit the IOW we always include a meal at Basque Kitchen as we were regulars when it was in Cowes. It’s our favourite. With all best wishes Ingrid and Derek
