Herrliberg Restaurants

12 years ago, La Taqueria was the ONLY authentic Mexican restaurant. I was born and raised in Texas, moved here in 1997, and had tried all the so-called Mexican food restaurants (Tres Amigos comes to mind) and they were an utter joke. (ordered chicken fajitas (ok, Tex-Mex) one time and got a grilled chicken breast; when I complained, the waitress argued with me about whether or not that was correct) Nowadays, there are a dozen or more Mexican restaurants and even though I have not tried them all, I can safely say La Taqueria is still the best. From food to friendliness, ambience to authentic surroundings, La Taqueria is the only one for me.

Food was very good. Service a little slow but not outrageous. Located in a hotel lobby.

My family dined here our first night in Switzerland. I had reservations somewhere else and changed them last minute to go here. I am so glad I did. The restaurant was such a neat atmosphere. We were seated right away and ordered. The food that came out was absolutely delicious. My husband had salad, fish with lemon risotto. My daughter had pasta and my son tried lamb for the first time. I had chicken stuffed with spinach and a side of lemon risotto. This was the best meal we have eaten so far on our vacation. Then came delicious desserts. We had Affogatos with Amaretto and the chocolate fondant with ice cream, berry compote and whipped cream. I highly recommend this great place to have an amazing meal!

The food is great, Portion Are big enough to get Full. I reccomend bussiots
