Beautiful setting and lovely food. Perfect for families.

Food is always Excellent & Service is Friendly Had booked upstairs level 2 but were put downstairs in kitchen corner. Was stuffy & humid & acoustics were horrible. I understand easier for them, but was then full downstairs so noisy & hot. Is a fabulous place & will be back … but have had a few issues with online booking not matching experience in restaurant

We had our Wedding reception here and it was just amazing everyone loved it and it was so well run from start to finish everything was so professionally done Fran also did our photography and she was so professional and did such a wonderful job. We just can’t thank them enough We returned last night on our own for dinner and same it was delicious and amazing service and a lovely place to have a intimate dinner for two or more everyone in the restaurant was so happy 😃 and so were we Thank you for this very special place we call it our go to place Thanks to all the staff at Portside outstanding

Service with a smile and very efficient. Lovely atmosphere. Food was restaurant size but beautiful. All the flavours. Reasonably priced as well.

Delicious food - compliments to the chef team- fabulous staff and great chilled out restaurant environment. Generous serving sizes with a fine dining touch. Staff assist you with your queries and assist you to chose the best options for you. If you’re looking for a lovely evening in Hervey Bay - you’ve found a great place here at Banksia - been here twice this trip - will be coming back again Thank you Nelly and team
