We dined at Elsie’s for the first time on a Monday evening — and it was truly outstanding. Open from Thursday to Monday, this gem is well worth planning your visit around. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, friendly service and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The story behind the name — a tribute to one of the chef’s great aunts — adds a lovely personal touch that’s reflected in every detail. We enjoyed the bugs special, which was absolutely delicious, and the wine list was full of great options to match. Elsie’s has a beautiful ambience and a real sense of care in everything they do. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit Magnetic Island. Highly recommend — a memorable dining experience.

Outstanding service and delicious meals. Our steak was cooked exactly as we asked, we loved the vibe of the place and would definitely recommend Bridgewater restaurant.

Exceptional wines and Staff knowledge is amazing of all wines across the menu selection All bottles available by the glass, the ability to taste from the higher end of the menu is a great idea.

the evening was fantastic for our anniversary dinner. We ate lightly, but were totally satisfied by the wonderful 2 plates both of us had. Thank you for such great food in a lovely space.

Entree of tempura prawns was delicious. Mains was fish again another good meal. Dessert I had the macadamia caramel slice with ice cream, found the ice cream tooo sweet with the slice and should have asked for cream, would have been better. Do truly recommend.
