Best restaurants near me in Plaza / Brookside, MO

Wonderful evening with two other couples. The entire evening could not have been nicer. The table was in a room that one could carry on a nice conversation without competing with the other noise. Gaspar, as a server, could not have been more attentive or professional. The food was perfect from bread to dessert

First time to this restaurant and I can honestly say it was one of the best restaurants in KC that I have been to. Our group of 7 traveled an hour away to participate in Restaurant Week. It has become an annual tradition for us these past several years, and it is a great opportunity to visit the City and try something new. Our entire group ordered off of the RW menu. Everything was flavorful, portions were generous, and service was very good. Austin, our server, was friendly and attentive. Several of us ordered the pork chop dish, including myself, and it was so very tasty! One item I would change on the dish would be the "broccolini", which I am definitely not a fan of. Too much stem and not enough broccoli. Tried the brussels sprouts appetizer. Such a different taste, but a very good one. Would have liked to see more sprouts on there and a little less of the sauce. Both very tasty but it seems like the sauce size should have matched more of the number of sprouts on it or you are eating the sauce by itself. My daughters and I have a tradition of visiting the Plaza every year during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season to see the beautiful lights and eat dinner. I have already told my girls that when they come to town (one lives in NYC and the other in Scottsdale) that we will be going to Cooper's Hawk. Great atmosphere too! What a very nice restaurant. Andrea is the greatest! She truly makes it the best experience and I always love having her as our waitress. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful dinner. She makes you feel like you are one of her friends, and I can’t wait to go back and see her friendly face again! Thank you for a wonderful evening, Andrea!!!

We had a 4:45 reservation on Sunday. Were running a little late, called to say we would be there at 5:00. Told not a problem, table was ready and we were seated right away after we arrive. Our waiter Jen was great and the food was excellent.

My wife and I each had the filet mignon entree from the KC Restaurant Week menu. Delicious. The filet came with whipped potatoes and steamed broccoli which was a pleasant surprise because we also had carmellized brussel sprouts to share. Service was exxcellent. Dessert choices were among 6. Atmosphere was casual. Our first time there, but not our last.
