Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food. Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We also have specifically designed menus which are suitable to be eaten on our outside terrace area where the addition of a large purpose-built playground makes this the perfect location for families to enjoy the sunshine.

El Freemasons at Wiswell sirve comida fabulosa en un entorno rural elegante y relajado. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this. We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. We had a lovely meal here and were made to feel very welcome. The flat iron steak itself was a little on the bland side, but the peppercorn sauce absolutely transformed it — rich, punchy, and full of flavour. The burger was excellent, with beautifully tender meat and cheese that was nothing short of divine. A lovely touch was the complimentary glass of Prosecco for the birthday boy — much appreciated and helped make the occasion feel that bit more special. Our dog was also well looked after, with a comfy bed provided and a bowl of treats to keep him happy. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back.
