    The atmosphere is wonderful, and the server, Beverly, was exceptional. We were seated immediately. We love the Malasadas, best on the island by far. Dishes at our table were diverse, each one properly prepared with the freshest ingredients, in a timely manner. You can NOT beat the views. This is one of our favorite restaurants.

    All seven of us enjoyed our meals at lunch. Most of had the fillet sandwich (fillet mignon!), and it was excellent. I plan to go back to have it again. A couple of others had a chicken sandwich and loved it. The iced tea was good, as well as the service. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting the Big Island.

    Vacationing on the Big Island lured us to this dining spot which brought the best of the island to the table, using only the freshest ingredients that captured every taste bud with every bite and worth every penny! We researched many restaurants, but have to say that this one was the winner of them all. We will definitely come back on our next trip by canoe or car! Mahalo!

    We have always enjoyed coming to Manta but our recent visit was a relevation! Chef Nagau has elevated the food here to something truly special. The starter of kaua'i shrimp with hamakua mushrooms and curry was outstanding, while the ravioli with local farmed abalone was a special treat. A meuniere sauce on a local catch of kampachi was a classic twist on a local speciality. The service was wonderful and the manager stopped by for a delightful chat. Together with the beautiful setting overlooking the palm trees and the ocean -- an amazing experience overall!
