Nazara - Cary

We have been looking for a local Indian restaurant for a while now, and are so happy to have found Nazara! We went during Triangle Restaurant Week, 3 course dinner with wine pairing - phenomenal. Will definitely be back!
We are frequent visitors and are never disappointed! The service is great and the food is absolutely delicious.
Nazara never dissapoints. This was my first lunch. I prefer a set menu, but as buffets go it was excellent, although some of the selections could have been better (as far a choices. Lots of chicken.)
Wonderful dishes, prompt and friendly service. Bread was heavenly and hot! Will be back.
Nazara is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. They accomodate menu changes (e.g., they have a vegetable korma on the menu but elsewhere, one of my favorite dishes is shrimp korma. They were happy to prepare that for us.) Service is excellent, portions appropriate and cocktails at very reasonable prices. It's a go-to.
As always we had a great experience. We love the food. My husband asked for an entree suggestion based on his likes and dislikes, the recommendation is now his favourite dish! Thank you for the excellent food and service!
Awesome food, great service. A little pricey but certainly worth it.
Great place to eat, friendly staff, food was awesome especially Tandoori Chicken!
This was my first visit to the restaurant but not the first time I'd eaten food from Nazara. I was not disappointed. Service was attentive yet not intrusive. I felt welcome as soon I entered the restaurant. My OpenTable request was honored so that shows the staff paid attention to my reservation. The vegetable pakora appetizer was generous and definitely a shareable dish. The pakora were light, not greasy and presentation was above average (for an Indian restaurant). Entrees were generously portioned too and delightfully seasoned.
Dishes are not traditional Indian and include proteins that aren't found on most Indian restaurant menus. The dishes don't appear to focus on a specific region or Indian state. The menu is pan-Indian so diners get a wide selection of dishes to select. We each ordered cocktails that were made from scratch and the amount of alcohol was generous in my ginger martini. I thought for the quality and quantity of food, the price was right.
Nazara is decroated in a contemporary style and suited for couples, business meals and date nights. I noticed they do a brisk business in take out too.
I'd certainly return to Nazara.
Excellent night out with my kitchen remodeler and his wife.
Great Birthday dinner! Food was amazing. Paired perfect with a glass of wine. Our waiter was polite and welcoming. Great experience!
The best part of my visit was the food!!! I know where to go for amazing desi food now.
This was our second trip to Cary from Pinehurst 1.25 hours. Food and service were outstanding each time. Highly recommend.
Great Indian restaurant, our favorite in the area. A bit more expensive than the average but more than worth it for the quality.
Good Indian food and nice decor and atmosphere. Traditional menu and well prepared. Not sure slightly elevated prices make this choice better than some others, but we will probably be back.
Outstanding meal and service! Love Nazara!!
My wife and I used to love Nazaras. We went often for the lunch buffet during the week and many times we took friends there on Sundays. A few months ago we visited with 6 people and were very disappointed. We even apologized to our friends as this was their first visit. The selection at the time was poor by comparison and the naan was dried out and tasteless. Well, we wrote it off as a one time fluke. Sadly, we ate there this past Sunday, July 21, 2019 and were even more disappointed. While I thought they had the best naan in town, this is the second time it was marginal at best. All the meat dishes I believe were chicken. No beef, no lamb, no goat. The selections were poor and it just seemed to us as though they either have a different chef or they are trying to cut costs. Either way, the fact that we had a poor experience two times in a row does not speak well for Nazara. I doubt we will go there again.
Service, atmosphere, and food were good. My only complaint was that the Rogan Josh wasnt nearly as spicy as I as expecting.
What a surprise. Service and food were simply excellent. We took each recommendation given and were not disappointed.
The buffet is great and has so many options!!
Been here on several times over the last year and enjoyed spectacularly good and service. This visit the service was good, however the food was disappointing. New Chef? New Owner?
It's always a pleasure dining here! We enjoyed the entire experience once again.
Buffet food was mediocre and cold. No one explained there was a menu option. Seems like the regulars were ordering off the menu. Perhaps that is better.
The food and service was wonderful! Wish they had a separate gluten free menu but server was very helpful in helping us decide.
Wonderful Indian food and solid, friendly service
Nazara impressed on all levels. Good & service were fantastic. Will definitely return!
always a wonderful experience! Creative dishes, beautiful bar area, outstanding wine list, perfect service. We go back over and over.
My favorite Indian restaurant. Nice ambiance- very clean, staff is warm and friendly. Service could be quicker. Love the food
Indian food was exceptional - service was excellent - I can recommend it to all!!!
Nazara has a beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is great and the garlic naan is some of the best we’ve ever had. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because there are no sweet curry options and/or nothing on the menu that isn’t spicy. Other than that, it’s phenomenal and we will be back!
Much superior buffet lunch compared to other local Indian buffets. Food wasn't gray, comes out and they mark down when the tray came out of the kitchen. It was a bit dark for a business lunch, but they turned up the lights a little for us. There is also a nice glass-enclosed meeting room. Great appetizer and naan tray plus about a dozen savory items choices. Also about half a dozen cold dessert choices, with rice pudding with cardamom being extra delicious. I already recommended a friend to go. Thanks, Nazara.
Our favorite place
Best Indian food in Raleigh!
Excellent, fresh food. Excellent recommendations. Great service! Great place for a special night out.
Wonderful service and super delicious food!! Highly recommend!!
Food was all very good, we actually ended up taking a good bit home. My husband wanted it hot and he said they got the spice level just right.
Best Indian restaurant in an area that has a ton of them.
Nazara's is by far the best Indian food in the Triangle. We were there for Sunday brunch with other couples. Sadly, we felt the food was not as good as usual. The naan, usually fluffy and light seemed dried out and thin. The choice of entrees was also a but lacking from their usual selections. In spite of our disappointment, we will continue going to Nazaras. I am sure this was just an anomaly or blip in their otherwise excellent cuisine.
I am never disappointed with the food here. They are great at accommodating my off the menu dish request (korma). It’s definitely a hidden gem. The decor is beautiful and it is always so clean which really matters to me. I would love to see it busier. Give it a try!
