As a couple that visited Naschmarkt in Vienna (Austria) many times, this place can proudly wear its name. They have real Austrian food and the service is excellent. In fact, the service is higher-end that the restaurants in the original Naschmarkt. We visited it just before all restaurants were closed - but definitely plan to go back after the virus scare is over and they re-open.
We started with the pretzels this time and they were a little chewy. The endive salad was delicious and everyone enjoyed their schnitzels. Thanks for bringing us back to Old Vienna.
I got in for an early dinner (5:30). There was one other party in the restaurant. The place soon filled with other guests. It was clean, small and intimate, yet also casual. The service was excellent and the food was great. The menu offered lots of choices and I will definitely be back to try more.
Naschmarkt never disappoints! This visit was no exception. We had 4 and increased our party size to 5 at the last minute and they were happy to accommodate the request. The service, food and drinks were all amazing. The pork belly was a standout, absolutely amazing. Pork schnitzel and homemade sausages were all truly delicious! This is our go-to place for a celebration dinner or a night out for just my husband and me. Can't forget the fantastic pretzels! All so delish and elegantly served. One thing I love is that they pour your wine from the bottle at the table. This is a nice, personal touch. Can't wait to go back!
Everything was fantastic! It feels like one of those magical places were everything you order is amazing. Fantastic drinks, excellent service and delicious food. We will definitely be back!
My boyfriend’s birthday
Loved the food and service . Did not like tables so close together. You could barely get out of your chair without bumping your neighbor.
The restaurant is smaller than I expected, but one of the best places I've eaten in the South Bay. It is intimate but lively, the food was delicious, and the service was superb. Everyone in our group had been to Austria, and everything on the menu—which is quite broad for a small restaurant—conjured wonderful memories of our travels, from the Stiegl Pils to the generous Wiener Schnitzel portion to the vinegary potato salad to the Kleiner Brauner with dessert. They even brought a complementary trio of sorbet for the member of our party celebrating her birthday. It was not just a satisfying meal, but a wonderful experience.
If you like bacon, their pork belly will hit the spot. The pink trout was Devine. Could have used a few more veggies on the side. Great place to go.
Amazing food and service!
Small and intimate, food everyone would enjoy, flavors were amazing
Arrived at 5:00PM on the 15th they went from empty to full in a matter of minutes! Wow-incredible!
What a delightful experience a rare gem in todays world. Our drinks appetizers and main course were spot on even the desert was as good as it gets (soufflé).
Food was fabulous with unique combinations that excited our palates with wonderful flavors. The service was top notch with the right about of attention at the right time.
Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Our waiter was knowledgable and kind, and patient. It was a fantastic dinner! Thanks for having us, we'll be back.
The schnitzel was perfect, thin and full of flavor, breading is a wonderful texture. A classic dish prepared well.
My girlfriend ordered the evening special, beef stroganoff, which was a delightful surprise. Steak was perfect, and the pasta was rich and creamy.
The apple strudel dessert was the waiter's recommendation and it did not disappoint, such a great and warm way to finish the meal.
We also had the sausage trio appetizer and a few dessert drinks, all made the dinner special and memorable.
Thank you!! Hope to see you soon.
Some really unique and delicious food and drinks. The service was top notch and everything tasted so good. Only complaint I have was the size of the ice cube in one of my cocktails was so large I only got two swallows of one of the tastiest drinks I have ever had.
I can’t wait to go back!!!
Amazing food, excellent service, an elegant ambience.
Absolutely amazing and highly recommend! We came here for my husband birthday and the food was delicious!
I simply love the food at Naschmarkt. At most restaurants, I might get a glass of wine or alcoholic drink, maybe an appetizer, but rarely a dessert. At Naschmarkt, every course is exquisite and not to be missed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Nice menu. Good drinks. Good food. Good service. We’ll be back!
Food was alright but nothing special. Totally overpriced. Waiter was polite but super stiff and weird.
I have been going since it opened. I like the authentic German/Austrian food!
It is where we go to celebrate Birthdays etc.
We’ve heard good things about Naschmarkt and finally were able to come, our friends were right - it was so my! We’ll be back.
Quite good, but it’s pricy for the quality, taste, and presentation of food. The service was good.
Wonderful food and service, but expensive for us.
Naschmarkt is a gem of a restaurant found in old town Campbell. Excellent German food, some wonderful wines, great dessert, I love the pear sorbet!, and old style and correct, that is to say excellent service.
service was friendly without being overbearing.
Food was wonderful.
Only negative - table for 2 was small
First time here and loved it!
Food was excellent! We will be coming back!
Naschmarkt is a fabulous dining experience. Creative food, variety of dishes, great cocktails, top-notch service. It's a bit pricy though, so be prepared to spend $100 per person with drinks.
Amazing food, service, ambiance! Not sure why it took us so long to check this place out. Will be visiting often.
Excellent food, authentic to the region and excellent service!
This is our go-to for special occasions and this time everything tasted especially good. We'd actually just come from spending the holidays in Vienna and the wiener schnitzel compared well with what we had in Austria. I love the spaetzle appetizer -- visually very appealing and positively delicious. My fish was tender and flavorful. For dessert, we split the souffle, which never disappoints, and the restaurant was kind enough to include the sorbet trio in honor of our anniversary -- very tasty!
Amazing food, bier and wine. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Will return.
This restaurant is always the best. The new care they take in their food and making the evening and experience is like no other in the area.
While some of the dishes we ordered were not like we had had in Vienna, the menu and items were good. Our waiter was outstanding!!!
Excellent food. First time dining here and it was fantastic. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.
Excellent food. Very authentic. Yummie Austrian deserts!
Excellent, as usual.
New ownership? I hope the KEEP the Austrian recipes!!! Nothing Middle East or Turkish!!!
