Phenomenal food and drinks, very knowledgeable staff and excellent service. The go to place for authentic, elevated Hapsburg Empire dishes, from a selection of schnitzels, goulash, double cooked pork belly... to lighter side of soups, salads and seafood. Be sure to try the blueberry soufflé at the end and ask the bartender for one of his latest creations. Nothing will disappoint you at Naschmarkt

This is our favorite restaurant and we eat here at least once a month. The food is always fresh and delightful! The menu changes with seasonal dishes. The staff provide great service and the bar tenders make excellent cocktails. The ambiance is cozy and sophisticated, and not too noisy, so you can hear each other in conversation. Everything on the menu that we have tried is fabulous, but we especially like the fish, weiner schnitzel, sausages, roasted game hen, and the butter lettuce gem salad. Yummy.

Consistently flavorful dishes that are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to eat. Warm, gracious service. When Campbell and the Bay Area are full to overflowing with great places to enjoy a night out, there's a reason Naschmarkt is rated as highly as it is, for as long as it has been.

Simply put it, this restaurant is PERFECT. Best restaurant in South Bay, by far.

We celebrated my adult son's birthday with him and his wife. It was a delicious meal from the special pretzle appetizer to all the entrees we enjoyed. My son got this wonderful flavorful split pea soup too. The drinks were special concoctions too. My dish was the swordfish with citrus. It was almost too beautiful to eat with all the colors and flavors apparent. But I did eat it and found every bite wonderful! We just didn't have enough room left for desert.

Only downside was waiter was too attentive and it felt like he wanted us to eat and leave quickly. Good service, just felt rushed.

When I lived in San Jose a few years ago, I went here often and was always happy with the food and the service. However, things have changed. The only thing I recognize is the name. Decor is uninspired, the service is just OK. The staff will take your order and bring it to your table. The issue is the food. I was there with 4 people, these people are not picky and not one of them liked their food. I got really sick in the middle of the dinner and was sick for two days after that. Not sure what it was exactly in the rolled cabbage I ordered, but my reaction to the spice or ingredient was violent. The odd thing is that my mother ordered the same dish and was fine. There was this one bite that did not quite taste right and I paid for it.

This was my last visit here, once a restaurant poisons me, there is no way back :|

*Not sure if this is the same management, but they need to bring back the old kitchen staff, hire new waiters and use different ingredients. OpenTable is also at fault for advertising this as the restaurant of the year.

This place never disappoints. We all had the schnitzel and it was as always perfect. Flawless service by Shelby. It’s one of the overall nicest places to eat in Silicon Valley.

We eat here very often and know the menu well, so we like to try the specials, which always are innovative but within the Austrian tradition. My wife and daughter eat seafood, so they usually get the special fish or shellfish dish. I tend to stick the jaeger and Weiner schnitzels. The pumpkin seed/oil butter lettuce is outstanding and has become a staple of our home entertaining. Even if I was not raised on Austrian food from childhood, I would still consider Naschmarkt one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area and on a par with Wallse and Blaue Gans in NYC.

This was the place my husband took me on our very 1st date. The next year we came back and were engaged. This year we came back and are Married. Talk about a way to impress your date! The food is absolutely amazing and the way it’s plated is stunning. Every year it’s a treat.....we enjoy it in between anniversaries too. We go for each course. The Blueberry Soufflé is to die for!
We are Foodies and would recommend Naschmarkt for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience.

We have been here many times, as we live in downtown Campbell. It is really about the only restaurant worth visiting in D.T. Campbell.

We do, however, think that the food/value quality has come down a couple of notches. Prices are quite expensive now, and the food portion size/quality are not what the used to be.

All three of us felt that the Wiener Schnitzel (Classic) wasn't up to par, and the quality and size of the cut of meat isn't as good as it used to be. Also $10 for a few butter lettuce leaves with a couple of slices of radishes and a few pumpkin seeds is - while tasty - really quite overpriced. Either make it larger or lower the price.

Also, we had a reservation and expected a leisurely, unhurried meal, but the service was unnecessarily very rushed. We were basically out of there in an hour. An almost $200 meal for three, with cocktails before, should take a couple hours...

We'll go back, but probably not as often.

The service at Naschmarkt Restaurant was excellent. everyone was warm and friendly. We were not rushed selecting our food or drinks and that was a pleasure. The wait staff also gave us advice on beer, mixed drinks and with their specials. We'll be back!

I had been meaning to come here for quite some time, but never got around to it. It was a special occasion (Grandma's 90th bday and my aunt's 62nd), so it seemed like the perfect occasion to go and treat them. Fantastic service, right off the bat. Our server was attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. We each got different dishes to share with each other and everything was amazing (especially the stroganoff special - GET IT if they are serving it!!!) Since it was a birthday celebration, they also brought the birthday ladies the sorbet trio (lime, pineapple, and pear-apple), which was a hit at our table. They make their own sorbet in-house and they were bursting with flavour (and spices, in the case of the apple-pear). We left VERY full and very pleased!

Some friends and we ate at Naschmarkt last Sat. evening. Although it was very crowded and noisy, the food was delicious! We had the fabulous smoked chicken spaetzel, the goat cheese purse salad, the weiner schnitzel and apple strudel. The spaetzel and purse salad were divine. The weiner schnitzel was good but nothing really special. The apple strudel and vanilla ice cream were out of this world. We’d definitely like to return and next time will order the beef goulash. Wait staff was nice too.

I remember much tastier food and a classier feel but that was years ago and changes have been made. For the better? I cant say. It feels causal, quick and informal. The food is good yet the price for for a full meal feels heavy without cause.

Granted their service and actual food prep is beyond your favourite ramen house though.

Would I come back? Probably not. The ambience isn't meeting the most basic bar for 75usd to 150usd per person.

We love sitting at the bar and watching how the kitchen beautifully puts these delicious masterpiece meals together! The bartenders are masters with their drinks, always creating new ones, which keeps bringing us back routinely. The menu does change based on the season. The fish dishes are my favorites however I do go back to my favorites that remain on the menu. I love that we have such a great dining experience located in downtown Campbell!

I ordered Jagerschnitzel, which I have done many times before there. This version was inedible. It was a very thin slice of pork, and it was unbreaded. The schnitzel was flavorless. Yikes. What has happened to this restaurant? I was with a first -time business associate, whose scallops looked great, but I didn't feel like I could stop our business conversation in the middle of my meal to make a fuss. What the heck happened to my classic Austrian dish? Who was back in that kitchen? Ugh.

Excellent Restaurant in downtown Campbell. During peak hours parking can be challenging. So, arrive early and enjoy the wine tasting bar next door to the restaurant or a stroll around the town looking into an assortment of boutique stores.
My wife and I had the Yeager Schnitzel and it was excellent. Our son and his wife had the stuffed cabbage. The mussels as an appetizer were excellent. They have a good wine and beer list or enjoy a specialty cocktail. Be sure to make a reservation.

Finally made it to Naschmkarkt, and glad we did. The entire experience left us walking away very happy, but the dishes were the star. Nothing overcomplicated, just the classic Austrian/German favorites. The schnitzels, sausages and goulash were made with high quality ingredients, and a lot of love in the execution. Everything was absolutely delicious, and service was warm and friendly. I know a restaurant is good when I want to return right away. Note that reservations well in advance are a must!

I've eaten here three times now and I don't think I've had a bad meal or a bad component of a meal yet. This last time I had the pork belly and the girlfriend had the swordfish and we were both very happy. Service has always been very good. My only knock is it's a small place and when they are full and there is a line to get in navigating can be difficult.
