Delicious food! It was noisy with the pre-theater crowd, and then felt empty after everyone left. Also, they ran out of prime rib which is what I was looking forward to ordering. But the filet was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. We will definitely be going back!

Busy night but service was still outstanding. We had wine and appetizer, entre and dessert all within an hour - but were not rushed, either. I was seated right by the hostess station, so a bit busy and breezy.

From making reservations 31-days in advance to great appetizers, 1-entree and sides which two of us split to the server asking if we were attending DPAC and gave us advice to ensure a timely and unrushed meal, to the holding of our left-over take home until our show was finished, this was an exquisite experience for our anniversary

We ate at Nana’s 12/6. We had a great experience with Owen our server. The steaks were amazing cooked perfectly the side dishes were plenty. Entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

The service was excellent; Bridget was charming and helpful. The food was delicious. The only exception was that although we ordered the petite fillets to be “just past pink” in the “medium plus” range, they were rare (red ) inside and I left the middle of the filet on my plate.

This was our first time dining at this establishment, and we were a bit disappointed overall. The food was mediocre. The staff was odd, dry, and weird attitude. The service was below average for fine dining.

We were advised to be there by 5:15 for an 8 pm show. We do not eat dessert and therefore this was not necessary- we could have probably gotten there at 6 and been fine.

With this third bad visit to Nana's I am cured of this place and the sister restaurants of this group. I am not a complainer, and visit restaurants of this caliber often. This time it was a bug crawling across the table, and simply being ignored by a rude server. I squashed the bug and left it on the tablecloth with only one of my guests noticing, wrote a note with my phone number on the invoice, and asked the manager for a call as we exited. I regrettably even left the full tip. I never received a call. We're nice people and respect our servers, and don't deserve to be treated this way.

We truly appreciate the attention to detail with the staff. We were celebrating a birthday and they acknowledged as soon as we walked in. The service staff was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious, flavorful, and plentiful. The drinks were yummy and smooth. Overall, had a lovely experience and will be back.

If you are looking for an all around fabulous dining experience in Durham then Nana Steak is it! The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. Cool bar area too. Service is always top notch and the food is incredible. Great spot to celebrate a special occasion, grab dinner before a show at DPAC or just a night with friends. Five out of five stars every time! Brad and Graham have created something special and their staff is excellent.

We had reservations but were late and they were great about accommodating our arrival. Jared was our server, and he did a wonderful job by touching the table as soon as my friend returned to the table from the WC. He allowed us time to talk without rushing the timing of the meal. We ended up making it a three-hour meal and I hope we took care of Jared to his satisfaction. We split the Wedge and started with the calamari. The salad was nicely dressed and eh calamari was nicely spiced. We both had the filet, and they were both delivered at the correct requested temperatures. The only disappointment was the collards were the "best parts", but we both expected more acid and less sweet. Just our opinion. Dessert was creme brulee and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to returning one day soon.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Nana Steak this weekend on an excursion to Durham to see a show at the DPAC. The location was literally right next door to the restaurant so we were able to walk out the door of the restaurant right into the theater. We enjoyed two salads which were good but nothing special. I had the filet which was delicious and perfectly cooked and my husband had the Rib eye with mushrooms. We also shared a plate of the Brussel Sprouts with Apple Cider balsamic. Again, perfectly cooked. For dessert we split the brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce. It was delicious, but I could have used a little more ice cream with it. My only complaint would be that a group of 6 VERY loud and VERY drunk patrons were sat near us. Their screaming to each other took away from an otherwise perfect evening.

NanaSteak is a great place to eat whether it is before a DPAC show or just want to have a delicious meal. Excellent wine list and cocktail menu and the staff are very informative about the nightly specials or regular menu items. Highly recommend NanaSteak for a wonderful evening event.

We were absolutely blown away by the experience at NaNa Steak. The food is amazing - the atmosphere is amazing - but the wait staff/bartenders/hostess are beyond amazing. Will definitely be going back!!

Our food was basically perfect. Absolutely loved the crispy ribs appetizer! Although the staff was professional, we didn't find them over accommodating or friendly. Had a very loud (and intoxicated) birthday party occupying several tables next to us which sort of ruined any ambience the restaurant had. But, the objective was first and foremost to have a great steak and WE DID ! Kudos to the chef

Beautiful restaurant, but other guest are allowed to be so loud you must scream at your own table to hear each other. True the pork rib appetizer and steak tartare, both were out of this world good. Steak was good, but ordered Medium rare, received medium well. Risotto was watery, needed salt, and undercooked. Would come back for drinks and apps at the bar, but not for a full meal In the dinning room.

Blood orange margaritas didn't taste good. The food took about 40-45 mins to get to the table. Porchetta was bland and brussel sprouts were burnt. Mac and cheese my child didn't even touch. The steaks were good.
