Riverhead Restaurants

This was a very last minute reservation and I couldn't be more happy we went. The staff was delightful which is really refreshing in a world where customer service is often lacking. Everyone was so nice, even though we were last people there, no one rushed us. The foods was fantastic. The place itself was beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Delicious food and excellent service. Their fries are the best! Great for all! As one who needs gluten free, they are especially helpful and very tasty. Can’t wait to go back!

The Dimor Estate was on my list to try for some time and so I was excited to finally go. The restaurant is very lovely with old world charm in a very pretty setting. There is a beautiful outdoor space although we opted to eat indoors. The experience started out great...a cheerful and very helpful server who guided us through menu selections, letting me taste an unfamiliar wine and seemed to be top notch. Service on the North Fork of Long Island (as in other places) has taken a hit lately...but we were so pleased to have someone so helpful. The food was delicious, nicely prepared and portioned...all great...until...our server seemed to have disappeared!!! Out of sight, nowhere to be seen. We sat and waited and waited and finally another server came by to take the dessert order. Some time later she reappeared with a barely warm cappuccino (undrinkable, sent back). She apologized and alluded to something happening and seemed flustered. Very strange. It took some time to get the check and to pay. Hmmm...we don't know what happened but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I hope everything is ok. I still would definitely go again and absolutely recommend it.
