Amazingly in this day and age, both were delivered to the table exactly as ordered burger rare and tips mid-rare. Too many kitchens no longer get this correct. Discover Shirley
Shirley is a small town in Massachusetts, and many of the community's residents report French or Irish ancestry. This heritage is reflected in the array of upscale French restaurants in the area, which offer dishes such as boeuf gras de bazas, haricot beans with cassoulet and bouillabaisse. There are also a number of Irish pubs in Shirley. You could try a stout and order an accompanying meal, beginning with a loaf of soda or wheaten bread, followed by bacon and cabbage and finished off with barmbrack or goody. The community is also home to several privately owned orchards and wineries, where you can try locally made red and rose wines that pair well with housemade local goat's milk and dairy cheeses.
