Service could be improved in order to align with fine dining instead of the service level that I expect to receive at a casual eatery.
Every thing was great! the service was Excellent!! Great for special occasions.
Great service and ok food and drink. Prime rib came cold and tough. Drinks tasted watered down and shorted. For the price the value was not there
when I ordered a Diet Pepsi, I never received one, the food was very good. not a lot of privacy.
Again the food was very good. will try the Steakhouse again
The service was good. The food was average with my baked potato being over cooked, hard and not warm enough to even melt the butter. Breads were good as was the salad. I have eaten here many times and would have to say this one of the not so good dinners I have had. Will see how my next visit goes to the restaurant.
While it was busy the waitress was still very attentive and professional. My prime rib was cooked perfectly while my husband says his rack of lamb was the best he has ever had.
Great service and dining environment, mediocre food. For the price there are much better steak houses.
Service was good. Since having made reservations for 2 it would have been nice to be placed in a more private table or area instead of middle row next to a bunch of drunk obnoxious women who were rude to workers and had no consideration for anyone else. But keep shoving drinks into them and then get frustrated when they cant even pay their bill! This was for my husbands 40th birthday. Kenneth our waiter was excellent though, if not for him and good food this would have been a nightmare.
Great Food
Tyler was great server
food was excellent as usual
great experience
I have been an elite level club cardholder for many years at mystic lake. I made that note in my reservation along with the fact it was my husbands birthday dinner. There were no extra gestures/attention paid to this celebration at mystic which I would have expected.
Waitress was too busy. Almost missed our concert.
Very good food. Well managed with attentive and professional staff. Great place for an exceptional Steak Dinner.
Fillet mignon was the best I’ve had in my life and paired with Parmesan cauliflower made for the perfect meal. Too bad I didn’t have room for the creme brûlée. This is our go to place for special occasions. We’ve always had top notch service too. Overall awesome experience. 4/8/18
My husband and I ate here while staying at Mystic Lake for our anniversary. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was great! I tried lamb for this first time ever and it was nice and tender and the sauce it came with was delicious. It was a nice low key setting. I would definitely eat here again and I recommend making reservations if it’s a weekend like we did as it was pretty busy on a Saturday night.
Let me preface this review by saying our server and the food were fantastic! We ran into a bit of a snafu when we checked in at the hostess stand. I asked if we could add 1 person to our reservation (2) people to (3) and was denied without even looking into it. My 70 year old dad had to eat by himself at another restaurant in the casino. It was a bit of a turn off on how rude the hostess was but I did not want to make it awkward. I understood it was a busy Saturday night, but the table next to us sat empty for 30 minutes.
We did end up saying something to a manager who was very nice and receptive to the feedback. She offered a free desert which was really nice, but in the end I did want to eat with my dad and husband.
Our tab was over $120 for the two of us and it would have been closer to $200 had they been able to accommodate.
Great service. Great food. The lobster is fabulous.
Amazing food and a wonderful value!
Everything was excellent! The only thing to improve on is their bathroom situation. It’s a single stall bathroom and a busy place.
Great service from Ken and the food was outstanding!!
We were attending a concert and staying at Mystic Lake.
Our waitress was the tops. While we look forward to this meal yearly, afraid mine was not up to previous. My filet, which I have always thought was the best in the twin cities, was so salty that I could not eat it. Also, the scalloped potatoes. Otherwise. Salad and dessert, perfect. Others were pleased with theirs, lobster tail, scallops and another steak, and he, too said much too salty.
We love the food and the service. That is why we keep going back
Amazing food. Birthday dinner
great service quick seating and one of the best steaks I have had in my life if not the best
Everything was outstanding! From the service to the food...you won't be disappointed!
We waited 15 minutes before a server came to us and he told us the other server was busy with a party. He was not overly friendly and when the other server came she did not smile and was not at all polite. The food was overpriced for what it was and my steak was not butterflied or cooked to my liking. We will not dine there again.
First time here. The service and food was excellent and tasty. Had a 6:15 reservation came alittle early and got seated right away. Will definitely come back and will recommend the Steakhouse to others. Thank you for the great experience. We had a lovely evening.
Food and wine were fantastic!! The service by Ken was stellar! Thanks to Ken and all the staff at the steakhouse.
The food was average on this visit. It has been better in the past. Out waitress was very nice and attentive.
The steaks were great. Wish there was a separate entrance. The casino smells so bad of smoke. Have to immediately wash everything when you get home.
We had a blast! Great food, awesome wine selection, and the service was fantastic!!! We will definitely be back!
A boneless rib eye at a steak house should never happen. That is all.
Waitress not checking on us had to ask for water. Walleye fishy tasting so it was not fresh tasting. Steak was reallu good could have had a bigger salad.
Best meal we've had in a long time!! Will be back.
Our service was outstanding. We've been here before but you can tell they stepped up the service and the menu. Our waiter was attentive and accessible. The food was great! I would totally suggest making a reservation and enjoy a wonderful meal.
Our server, Kenneth I believe, was top notch but we expected more from our food. Lobster mac and cheese is that of cafeteria quality. My guest had the filet and said that it was fantastic.
Party of 6(3 couples) for the restaurant week special($35 for a three course). The salmon for was under cooked, practically raw in the middle, for one person. Server offered to bring out another plate. These things happen, no big deal. They also offered to take the cost off of the tab, nice gesture. But surprised the manager didn't come to the table to address the situation himself. Replacement salmon took extremely long. Everyone had finished their plate and the table was cleared off. Told the server just to box the replacement dish for to-go. Next was desert. It took 20 min from after the time the entree dishes were cleared from the table to get our desert. The server was very apologetic, but did mentioned that she had to make the desert herself. Is this typical? Next was paying the tab. Requested 3 tabs, since there were 3 couples. Tab #1 had only one charge($35), the other charge was comped, correct. Tab #2 also only had one charge($35), incorrect. Tab #3, my tab, had three charges(3 x $35) and all the drinks that was ordered for the table, incorrect. Requested tab #2&3 to be corrected, and at the same time tab #1 was being paid for. This is where it became extremely confusing. In order for tab #2&3 to be adjusted, the entire bill needed to be voided out, including tab #1. Ok, fine. 2nd attempt my tab #3 was correct, and tab #2 was correct. Tab #2 &3 have been paid for. But somehow tab #1 was now charged for both specials. What happen to the comp offer? Keep in mind, this person hasn't even eaten their meal. Attempt #3, void out tab #1, and redo it. But somehow miraculously, the entire bill didn't need to be voided out, similarly to the 2nd attempt, weird but ok. Finally everything was straightened out. Surprised me that this was the manager's doing, and after all of this, not a single apology from him. Server was very nice and felt bad for the wait time, uncooked food, and issues with the bill. Unfortunate that the dilemmas over shadowed the food
We have eaten here a lot, and tonight the food and service was exceptional. I recommend the Rack of Lamb cooked medium rare, with the parmesan crusted spinach, and sweet potato. So delicious, and if you like Caprese, then try theirs, they use avocado and its wonderful.
Took advantage of restaurant week for my birthday and had the steak carpaccio, prime filet and chocolate lava cake. All very delicious. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Recommend getting reservations!
I guess it's a cliche that casino food is not particularly great, but the Steakhouse at Mystic Lake Casino is the exception to the rule. We've been there three times now during Restaurant Week (it's the only restaurant participating out here in the boonies), and each time it's been wonderful. Last night I chose to have crab chowder, a pork chop with corn souffle, and lava cake dessert, and it was delicious. The service is attentive, and the design of the restaurant is upscale. I recommend it.
