Myron's at Alon Town Center
We went for Valentine’s Day. Our table was in an awkward location and next to the kitchen. Steak was cooked right but meat had a decent amount of gristle. Scallops were excellent!
Excellent experience and amazing meal!
I TOOK MY FIANCEE HERE FOR HIS BDAY, HE LOVED IT, THE FOOD, SERVICE, ETC.
IT'S SUCH A WONDERFUL, ELEGANT, & CLASSY PLACE!
My wife and I LOVE Myron’s and have been there many times. However, this most recent trip was well below the standards we’ve come to expect. We ordered our steaks cooked medium-well. Our waiter talked us into medium-plus and we agreed. My wife’s filet came back cooked rare. When we told our waiter, he took it back to the kitchen to be cooked some more, and then it back well-done/almost comepletely dry. The waiter admitted it was the chef’s fault that the steak was so undercooked and apologized. I would have expected something to be reflected in our final bill, but no adjustment was made. My steak was bland and lacking any of the usual flavor that I’ve come to expect from Myron’s steaks. We’ll come back because we enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the service and are attributing this to a one-off evening. Nevertheless, it was a little disappointing.
Wonderful as always. This time we were uncomfortably cold however
Had a filet and AuGratin potatoes. Everything was very good. Steak cooked just like we ordered it. Excellent bread also.
Our waiter Kenny was great. Very polite and knowledgeable.
Another terrific meal at Myron’s! I tried for the first time the Ribeye with Shrimp Myron added on top...WOW!!
Waiter and staff were awesome and it was our 28th wedding anniversary.
Had a great time and Charlie was great as usual. We love the drinks!
Charlie was superb !
Every time I get to San Antonio, we make reservations at Myron’s. Great food, great service. Only disappointment this time was not having Darrin as our server.
Myron's is an excellent for that special occasion dinner. Our table was ready on time, the service was excellent and the food was perfect.
Haven't been? Gotta go.
Haven't been lately? Gotta go back
Outstanding food and service. A great place to gather and visit while enjoying truly incredible food.
Ribeye was excellent, as was the creamed spinach. Service was attentive. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner and even received a complimentary dessert.
Amazing as always! Hands down best steak in town and Shrimp Myron is heaven!
Very good food. One of the few steakhouses that can cook a good medium steak for my wife and well done steak for me. I wish they were open at lunch! Their au gratin dishes are fantastic.
Myron’s steakhouse as usual is excellent . I had the bone in filet , with the lamb lollipops as an app. Will definitely go again very soon .
Service was excellent as usual .
We went for our anniversary and requested a booth which we received and appreciated because it’s extra cozy and more conducive to conversation. We ordered appetizers which were amazing ( escargot, Tuna , and shrimp cocktail )
The server was very attentive and did a good job of not rushing our dining experience. We ordered the 12 oz filet medium rare plus and the Australian lobster tail. The steak was prepared to order but honestly didn’t have much flavor and the lobster was also cooked correctly but not my favorite. It’s much less expensive than the other lobster tail offered but again not my favorite. The entrees come with a salad which is nice. We had the wedge with a wonderfully tasty and chunky blue cheese dressing. The restaurant graciously treated us to a warm chocolate cake for dessert that was delicious. Overall a good experience but I probably would order something other than the filet.
Wonderful food and excellent service, as always. We have never been disappointed.
It's a most premium experience on every level. Please bring plenty of money.
I've visited Myron's several times over the years since it opened...it just keeps getting better and better. The service in particular was outstanding on this last visit. It's a pricey place but it's one we return to for special occasions because the food is so good, the wine list is interesting and the service is attentive without being superficial and or smothering.
Saturday night happy hour
Enjoyed very much. Great waiter Anthony. Will ask for him next visit.
The crab was diced in a cole slaw look. Although very good we did not like the presentation.
We dine there routinely and have never gotten a bad meal. The service continues to be excellent.
Myron's continues to be one of our favorite San Antonio restaurants. Love the staff. Friendly and helpful. Darrin, our server, is the absolute best. Love it when he takes care of us....and he does just that. Thanks.
Excellent place for celebrating an anniversary or birthday, but even better for just turning a night out into something more memorable.
The ambiance is amazing, so warm and inviting, perfect for a date. The lamb chops were delicious but the ribeye tasted like Barbacoa. Not worth the $50 for it. They could add more cocktails to the drink menu, I was not a fan of the drinks and found them to be a little different. All in all I would not return but it is a great place to try at least once. The butter is Devine!!
The food was average and the wine was excellent. For the price, it was not worth it. I have heard good things about this place so it must have been an 'off night'. However, considering the prices I do not see going back. The waiter and hostess were exceptionally pleasant and helpful.
Very disappointing experience probably will never return. Nothing special except the prices. Perry’s has much better food ambiance and service.
The wine list is overpriced in comparison to other better steakhouses. Steak was over cooked to begin with, ordered med rare got well done. Recooked steak was rare and manager made excuses about how hard it is to cook a 6 oz filet. Meat is not prime grade maybe choice. I can get a prime filet at HEB and do a better job cooking it.
Best Steak! Mac and cheese to die for!
4 of us friday night..Wife ordered the fish..After we ate our salads we were told that the fish was sold out and only swordfish was available. We said ok..When our food came the fish smelled like BAD SMELLY fish..we sent it back and by the time her steak came we were completely done eating and she was tired.
We were charged not for the fish but the streak which is ok but it took SOOOO long that it was a waste of money. No manager came over and I hope no one else ate that fish because it smelled rancid andI hope no on else got sick.
For what we were charged we deserved better quality food.
Entire meal was ok....just ok
Wow what a spectacular meal!
From the ambiance to the service to the meal and dessert!
All just perfect.
Myron’s is a quiet comfortable place to have a really good meal, whether an everyday meal, or a very special occasion.
A new favorite.
Food, ambiance and service was First Class!
I definitely recommend this steak house!
Service was amazing & food was great!!! We had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary! We splurged and it was totally worth it!
Myron’s is always at the top of or list for fine dining for a date night or special occasion. This visit was an early celebration of a birthday. Really fun experience in that we brought our (young adult) daughter’s with us. They had a fabulous time and was fun introducing them to one of our favorite spots. As always delicious hand crafted cocktails and dinner was had by all!
We enjoyed the evening and our meal, but although the steak my husband had was very good, it and everything else on the menu was EXTREMELY over-priced for what we got. I have enjoyed meals just as much, if not more, in other restaurants and paid significantly less for the pleasure. We appreciated the efforts of the staff, but definitely a one-time visit for us.
The misses and I have been here several times and once again it did not disappoint. Great people, staff and customers, food succulent and always satisfying portions. Staff very professional.
We are guests at Myron's at least 3X's yearly and have always enjoyed the experience. However,
this last time the steak (16oz Rib Eye) I ordered was over-done; I requested rare and it came medium, perhaps even medium-well. It also seemed the quality of the cut was not best.
Although the meal, overall, was acceptable, the entrée of course is the most important.
Service, as always, was cordial - from the first greeting to the server and assistants. Thanks.
We still expect to return to ensure our past experience was a fluke.
