   From the first greeting at the front desk, to the friendly bartender and are amazing wait staff, we were treated like celebrities. Love the ambience also but we came for the food and it was amazing. Definitely the place to go for a special night out.

   First time in LA, we wanted to enjoy a historic Hollywood spot. Loved the food, service, and ambiance. Obviously the wait staff work their butts off to turn the tables over. At times, the service was a little too fast! I would recommend and I would go again.

   I shared with my server at the end of the meal that I didn't find the ribeye quality high enough. It was dense and not marbled and in my opinion I would rather pay more for a thicker steak than a 5/8" thin steak. He assured me if I had expressed my thoughts he would have made it right.

   Excellent service with good suggestions. Seated at reservation time. The food was cooked as ordered, vintage style. We ate the liver and kidneys just the way Orson Welles did! Although the restaurant was bustling, we felt relaxed and well taken care of.

   Once sat it took a long time (20-25min) for a waiter to even come over. Once they did and took our drink order and returned we didnt see them for another 15min to take our order.

    My wife and daughter treated me for birthday #76 Gracious welcome by manager and staff who recognized us from previous visits even after five months Always love the vodka martini We three shared several dishes including caesar salad /ribeye steak/turkey a la king/ scallops/ potatoes au gratin (only disappointing dish) /broccoli / key lime pie for dessert Oh and two of us had a cup of soup of the day: white bean&ham = outstanding Service by THEO was excellent and he was very patient with our many questions …entire service staff top notch

    This is a great old school steak/italian house. Service was on-point and the food and drinks were wonderful. Not a fancy venus serving picturesque newfangled dished, just all the classics done well. We will return!

    I have always loved Musso and Frank. The service and food are always excellent. The room we were in was a bit noisy because of 2 large parties, but did not dampen our experience.

    A wonderful dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. She was thrilled as well was charmed by the staff, service and ambiance of high class historical Hollywood restaurant. Thanks to Paul our maître d', Nicholas our server, and Serge our sommelier. Their hospitality, and gracious demeanor made the experience all that more special. And compliments to the Chef and bartender, the food was delicious and the drinks were superb. We look forward for the next opportunity to enjoy your hospitality and excellent service.     Great service and experience overall! The service staff was exceptional and took good care of us. The Happy Birthday card was a really nice touch. The menu was exactly what we expected, but for some reason the ambiance was not quiet and romantic like I was expecting. It was lively and loud, and I was not expecting kids during a dinner service.

    Good experience with excellent service, wines are way over priced...for example 64 dollars for a bottle that can be bought at a store for less than $9... Yes, that same vintner and year.

    Such great ambiance! Really does feel like old time Hollywood. Food was delicious. Great filets and tasty onion rings. Service was excellent. Waiter was there when you needed him. The only downside was the noise level and our dessert. Had crème brûlée which we felt was flavorless. Still loved this restaurant and look forward to the next visit.

    Musso and Frank is a Los Angeles treasure. Its history is long and colorful. I have lived in Southern California my entire life, but this was the first time spending an evening at the Restaurant. It was a Saturday evening, so it was very busy, a little loud, a little too dark for my taste, but great all the same. Amazingly our booth in the bar area was very comfortable and reasonably quiet. We could actually talk and be heard. Because Musso and Frank Grill is so iconic, we had to make our reservation two months in advance for a party of four and still did not get an early sitting. This is event dining after all. I am assuming this is much less difficult during the week. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. It met or exceed my expectations.

    Musso and Frank grill is my go to place to eat before or after theater performances at the Pantages. The food is always wonderful and the service from the host to the servers is impeccable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal and experience. The decor is old Hollywood and I hope they never update or modernize it. My granddaughter had never seen a pay phone booth!!

    The single worst customer experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My server actually antagonized me because I complained that my order took over 20mins and then he sent my steak out raw! DON’T EAT HERE

    Musso & Frank is an elegant, traditional restaurant that excels in service, food quality, cocktail quality and all within walls and an ambiance that could tell stories of Hollywood lore, if they could talk. Musso & Frank is NOT a hipster restaurant. It is NOT the place to bring a group of kids on their birthday. It IS a place to enjoy a classy meal enveloped in history and charm. I’ve been coming here since the early ‘80’s for Hollywood client lunches, and now, in my retirement, I still often come to Musso & Frank for a meal filled with memories and good times.

    This was an interesting experience. I was born and raised in the Silverlake area close to Hollywood but never ate at Musso & Frank Grille. The ambiance was very original 1930's style with lots of dark wood, but quite elegant. The food (NY steaks, seafood, chops) and service were very good as well. The only two negatives were the loudness of the place as it was hard to hear someone just 4 feet away. Also, (no fault of M & F), but just outside, two or three homeless people had their sleeping bags and other items right outside the front door when we exited the restaurant. Overall a great experience!

    Had a great visit and I hope to return soon! Gave the 4 stars on service as they gave me the wrong vegetable which i didn’t say anything about and it was actually very delicious. Have 4 stars for value as it was a bit more expensive then what I normally pay for a similar plate at a similar restaurant in my neighborhood of Redondo Beach. An overall 5 star visit! Cool place!!!
